centralbucksfanI still think its OSU ball. Smith wasn't pushing his arm forward. He was trying to grab ball. Stevens knocked ball forward and out of bounds.

Azubuike24A nice 3-minute timeout there for Purdue to call a play...
-
centralbucksfanWow...that ball was in target...gulp!
-
Laley23Purdue has to go for the win, right? They are terrible...why not lol
-
Mohican00game.
Good look, Purdue could've won it there -
Terry_TateScared to death when that ball left his hand, was right on line, lol. Survive and advance.

From the back angle, it was dead on. Just short...centralbucksfan;1590006 wrote:Wow...that ball was in target...gulp! -
TiernanI was at the game and it looked good from where I was. Great atmosphere by the way. Way more OSU and MSU fans then anybody else. Hoping we get a shot at scUM on Sat.

bases_loadedFWIW draft express has craft as a 2nd round pick. Him and Q

Why not? Not saying he could, just curious why you don't think he could?WebFire;1588881 wrote:What position do you think he would play in D1? I can't see him playing QB at OSU. -

I can't see Craft as an NBA player, but I wouldn't count him out when he could dedicate 100% of his time to improving his offensive game.bases_loaded;1590142 wrote:FWIW draft express has craft as a 2nd round pick. Him and Q -
reclegend22I was hoping the shot would fall just so coaches would think twice before sucking all of the fun from the end of the game I am watching by intentionally fouling and taking away my chance at seeing a buzzer beater attempt.
Great finish, though. That shot was dead on from the live TV angle. -

I just don't think he had quite the skillset for D1 football that he did for basketball. He did well in HS, but he also played all small schools, some that could barely field varsity teams.se-alum;1590172 wrote:Why not? Not saying he could, just curious why you don't think he could?
Did he have a lot of offers for D1 football? I'm sure even there was interest, a lot didn't offer due to him committing to basketball. He also didn't play football his senior year. -

Craft has had 4 years to improve his offensive game. It hasn't and never will get any better.se-alum;1590177 wrote:I can't see Craft as an NBA player, but I wouldn't count him out when he could dedicate 100% of his time to improving his offensive game. -

I wouldn't go that far. Play professionally, basketball is your life. There are significant limitations in college as far as coaching, individual instruction. NBA, 24/7, year around. Players certainly improve. To think they don't, is ridiculous. He certainly could. Yes, he has a ceiling, no question.Prescott;1590304 wrote:Craft has had 4 years to improve his offensive game. Anyone remember a guy named Eric Snow, played for MSU? Really wasn't anything special. Dude played 10+yrs in NBA. I am not saying Craft is going to make it, get drafted or anything. But if you do your research, there is some interest in the kid for a lot of reasons. Read an article recently that quoted many NBA GM's who said half of the NBA has an interest in Craft, could draft him, and half don't. Its all about the right fit, being in the right place at right time. -
Laley23That is a really good comparison, actually.
But, Eric Snow was a much better passer. I think he averaged over 8 assists his SR year at MSU. -

It's not a good comparison at all. There are major differences between snow and craft. The main one, like you said, was snow was a great passer and ran the offense fluidly, craft can barely run OSUs offense let alone an NBA offense.Laley23;1590340 wrote:That is a really good comparison, actually.

I don't recall that MSU team. But this year, think about what Craft has around him offensively? I know he isn't anything great in terms of passing/dribbling, seeing the floor. But what you have around you can either make you look really good...or just avg. On top of that, with Scott playing time the past two years, Craft hasn't had the ball in his hands as often.Laley23;1590340 wrote:That is a really good comparison, actually.

Last summer, Craft participated in PG camp with pros. He played pretty well and defended the hell out of Irving. Irving was quoted as saying that just based on defense, there is a place for Craft in the NBA. -

I was more talking about size, shooting ability (or lack of), rebounding and great defending and both from B1G.SportsAndLady;1590344 wrote:It's not a good comparison at all. Azubuike24Eric Snow was bigger and despite him not being a great outside shooter, he could still hit a mid-range shot. Until Craft shows he can shoot anything outside of a lay-up, this comparison is unfair to Snow.

Craft has averaged the same amount of assists all 4 years. 4.8; 4.6; 4.6; 4.6centralbucksfan;1590345 wrote:I don't recall that MSU team. Eric Snow (didnt play freshman year, really) was better in all 3 of his. 5.2; 6.7; 7.8
I dont think its a horrible comparison, cause both are awful shooting the ball. But Snow was simply a better passer. He was drafted for that and defense. Craft will be drafted for defense, which I just dont know if its enough. If he was a better passer or shooter or anything I think his chances would skyrocket. -

Oops, our bad. Mr. Knowitall has spoken. We are wrong, as are many NBA GM's, an All Star as well. Keep forgetting your expertise!SportsAndLady;1590344 wrote:It's not a good comparison at all. I didnt see Snow in college, but that is VERY true in the NBA. He actually had a knock down jumper. Looking at stats, Id assume it was the same in college, as he hit nearly 60% as a JR and 55% as a SRAzubuike24;1590351 wrote:Eric Snow was bigger and despite him not being a great outside shooter, he could still hit a mid-range shot. But Snow in college weight less than Craft, and was only an inch taller (of course, I dont know how accurate that shit is anymore). -

Snow wasn't a great outside shooter in college. Terrible 3pt shooter. He developed more shooting once in the NBA.Laley23;1590354 wrote:I didnt see Snow in college, but that is VERY true in the NBA.
