2013-14 OC College Basketball Fantasy Draft Thread

Taking away Olynyk and Harris, I'd bet Pangos puts up 16-19 PPG.

He only took 9 shots a game, which isn't a ton for a guy scoring nearly 12 a night.

Also, a great deep shooter too. He could put up some 30+ games.

Pangos is one of the best shooters in the country, but time will tell if he can develop into the star of a team and drop nearly 20 a night. That's why I wasn't sure on that pick. He was on my board, but further down.

Damn. We put a dent in this thing quickly.

Well its about to be done because Goon is gone
  • Laley23
Yeah, I passed on Pangos because he has never had the "take over" gene as far as I can tell. Now, he might this year, but it was a risk too big to take considering (at least it seems like) we are going to be stuck with who we draft, for the most part.
  • GOONx19
Still here. I can't pm because I'm on my phone. I can text laley if his number is still the same.
  • Laley23
Ill text Goon right now, he might still be sober enough to make a pick.

EDIT: lol, same number. I can text you when Terry picks if you want?
  • Terry_Tate
Give me 5 minutes, just realized my next pick was gone in the second round, lol
  • Terry_Tate
    Rod Rucker, F, UAB

Not feeling great about that one so please someone tell me something good, lol
  • Laley23
    Dakari Johnson, Kentucky, C

    Thats from Goon.

    Solid alliteration.
  • SportsAndLady
Damnit goon I was gonna take him
  • Mulva
But seriously I was not familiar with him. If he even repeats the same numbers though that'll be a real good pick.

Rucker was #1 on my big board using last year's stats in the scoring formula...

I see nothing wrong with it.

Forwards, at this point, are becoming rare. Not Center rare, but grabbing a solid one before RD 7 is going to become tough.

Fucking Willie Cauley-Stein is listed as a F.

    7'0 and probably still growing.

Had to rant with Dakari going.

Eh its not too bad... too many TO's for my liking though.
  • reclegend22
Please don't take my fucking pick anyone. I need a beta blocker. Haha.

Where is our comedy gonna come from?
  • Laley23
I just FB messaged Wizurhd. Should have his pick soon enough.
  • reclegend22
Shit. Nevermind. Rucker was taken. Wasn't paying attention. WTF.

Agree with Az. Rod Rucker is a double-double machine. Once again, nice pick.

Says the guy who just picked a guard averaging 3.7 turnovers per game, lol
  • Azubuike24
Ha. TT, you get my email BTW?
  • Terry_Tate
And thanks for the kind words on Rucker. Was afraid I was pulling a CC by picking him in that he's suspended or injured or something, haha.

And why is Willie-Cauley Stein listed as a forward? I don't understand that at all. I mean, if he had Dirk's skill set, that'd make some sense. Was he listed as that last season in the UK media guide? He seems like a center by all accounts to me.
