LJYou must have missed the part where he was moving away and to the left when he made the throw and his feet were basically off the ground.

The point was, LJ claiming Kenny doesn't have a stong enough arm to throw the ball 15 yards.ytownfootball;1515207 wrote:Not my dog in this fight, but part of the offense Meyer want to run takes the top off the D (Northwestern was hell bent on not letting this happen this week) Kenny doesn't have the over the top strength Brax has, that's all. -

It was 15 yards, Guiton could easily make that throw, as could any QB on a college football roster.LJ;1515209 wrote:You must have missed the part where he was moving away and to the left when he made the throw and his feet were basically off the ground. -
LJ
He would have had to set his feet and gotten sacked. He can't make that throw jumping backwards. Not many in college can.se-alum;1515214 wrote:It was 15 yards, Guiton could easily make that throw, as could any QB on a college football roster. -
LJ
I never claimed that.se-alum;1515213 wrote:The point was, LJ claiming Kenny doesn't have a stong enough arm to throw the ball 15 yards.
Look, you keep saying "my love of Braxton blah blah blah". Truth is, he frustrates the hell out of me. He makes some dumb mistakes. What I laugh at is you making these claims that Guiton is physically every bit of QB that Miller is. -

I've not once said Miller and Guiton were physically equal. Not many QB's are great athletes like Braxton is, and I've said many times that he gives us the best chance to win a NCG. However, I don't sit here and act like Guiton is not physically gifted. He can run the ball, and his arm is fine for a college QB. I also happen to think Guiton makes better decisions. Honestly, I think Braxton is playing scared right now, afraid the knee won't hold up. He doesn't look nearly as explosive as he did last year.LJ;1515220 wrote:I never claimed that.

TiernanNow you're playing armchair psychologist too..."Braxton playing scared"...c'mon man the staff sees these two go head to head everyday against the most talented athletes in the B1G and they know which one gives us the best opportunity to win football games. Meyer admits he was "considering" a change Sat night but his overiding confidence in BM made him stick with him. That alone should be enough to convince you to do the same.

reps.... btw, heading to Mangiamos tonight for dinner--we stopped by the other night to pick up a menu, and it looks like an awesome place--thanks for the heads up : thumbup: -

He's not scared of his knee. It may not be 100% making it hard to plant here and there, but honestly he is being handcuffed by the staff to make plays with his arms and not his legs. He is playing the same way he was in the UB game.se-alum;1515235 wrote:I've not once said Miller and Guiton were physically equal. Also Earle Bruce said that Wilson did not get any touches because the risk was higher than the reward. Northwestern told OSU that it was too wet to mow, so the field was way overgrown (as we saw on tv). This nullified a lot of what Wilson does, so with his fumbling issues, there was no point in using him. -
TiernanGood point on the grass LJ - hadn't heard that. Now lets take a week off to heal up and psyche up. Doing a huge tailgate next week for Iowa. Got some Hawkeye buddies coming to the Slaughterhouse.
