They who? Brandon said there were others considered. Why does it matter?Midstate01;1566019 wrote:So they didn't ask about another coach. That's all I asked. So there is no fact either way. OK
Doesn't matter who they hired in the end, next year is Bradys make or break. -

It doesn't. I only asked a question. Gave a tweet from a beat writer and was told it was false. Because posters on this minor league site obviously know more inside info than anyone. LolWebFire;1566037 wrote:They who? Brandon said there were others considered. Why does it matter?
I'll drop it it's not a big deal. I was only curious. -
Midstate01You guys are turning into mini lotz's.

You came on this thread and tried to tell us what happened based on 1 nobody's tweet, as opposed to what the AD and head coach said, as well as other sports media.Midstate01;1566103 wrote:It doesn't. Good idea to drop it. -
Spread All DayThis is a great hire for Michigan. Michigan has all the tools to have a bama type offense with Green and Smith in the backfield. The ol was young 3/5 being RS freshman/sophomores. Plus you have Shane Morris (i hope) or Devin Gardner (also very good with time) at the helm. As a Michigan fan i LOVE the hire. Borges needed to go, i'm so happy he did.
Hokes days are numbered if they have another down year. -

No I put it out there. Didn't tell you it was fact...WebFire;1566126 wrote:You came on this thread and tried to tell us what happened based on 1 nobody's tweet, as opposed to what the AD and head coach said, as well as other sports media.

oh really?Midstate01;1565756 wrote:Hoke didn't want the new guy. AD did. -
Trueblue23Ah who cares.
The fact of the matter is Hoke realized Borges wasn't getting the job done, Hoke made the change. Not the AD.
I like the hiring though. He's a younger, very intelligent OC who makes the most of the talent he has. -

Yep. No matter how it went down, he is an upgrade from Borges. And he's young and energetic, and a good recruiter. Things Borges wasn't outside of his bad coordinating.Trueblue23;1566150 wrote:Ah who cares.

All the tools? Uh..no, not even close. The tools are an offensive line that Bama rides year in and year out. One that has been LOADED with NFL type players. UM has a LONG way to go. Very good hire, yes. But the tools similar to Bama? Not even remotely close.Spread All Day;1566131 wrote:This is a great hire for Michigan. se-alumI liken it to "coach speak", neither one of them are going to publicly throw each other under the bus.

That wouldn't be the same HC that said this now, would it? >> Brady Hoke had just publicly said he wasn't planning on making any changes to his coaching staff.WebFire;1566756 wrote:Already did.

Coach speak at a presser. Note the word "anticipate". He further left the door open when in the same interview he said they hadn't done any evaluations of coaches yet. This was discussed on Michigan boards at the time and most didn't think it meant anything. And it didn't.Scarlet_Buckeye;1567485 wrote:That wouldn't be the same HC that said this now, would it? >> Brady Hoke had just publicly said he wasn't planning on making any changes to his coaching staff. -
