  Believe me - I'm in the same boat as you. I think he's 100% guilty from the start.
  
  But if he did, in fact, have those calls, why wouldn't he use that as evidence? Or what if someone else finds those records and finds that he did have those long, 8-hour phone calls? It just changes things a bit.

I stopped talking about his family not being well off because there was nothing else to say. I didn't make anything up about that, I said he wasn't well off. You said he wasn't poor.   He's more then not poor. His family paid 20k+ a year from 7th grade on to go to ponohou high school. While living on the far northeast side of the island(a 45 minute drive). His uncle was my boss, and they have plenty of money. The Mormon community in Leia is very wealthy and the te'o's are part of that.

  Finished reading it. It just keeps getting better and better. She gets hit by a drunk driver, was in a coma, flat-lined twice, the family was going to pull the plug on her but chose not to, got better, then died of leukemia. Wow.

We're going to pull the plug." I remember having this feeling like everything is going to be OK. They were telling me, "Say your goodbyes." From April 28 to around mid-May, I was always talking to my girlfriend who was on a machine.

  As funny as it sounds... the more I read, the more I'm thinking the only way something crazy like this could happen was if someone was on the other end just pushing the envelope seeing how far they could take it with Te'o.

  Think if this loser would have won the Heisman, thank goodness he did not win it. I think the story of his girlfriend dying helped him get second in the Heisman, but how good was he when he played Alabama? #Nonfactor! NFL draft=falling like a rock!

  Just listened to Pete Thamel's interview on Dan Patrick radio show - Thamel is the one who just released transcripts of his interviews with all involved around Lennay... he, too, feels that Te'o was innocent and on the receiving end of a "world-class dupe". Remember, Pete spent 4 DAYS on Notre Dame's campus the week of the Michigan game (days after Lennay "died").

  I read his entire transcript, and wow, if it's really as it sounds the guy who set this up literally had to spend hundreds if not thousands of hours setting this up and had a girl in on it too for all of the phone conversations, as well as others who could have been the parents, etc. Absolutely insane.
