They lost to a lot of teams, which makes it even funnier that they beat Purdue! :)

^ This, plus I believe ND had a 2-1 record against the big ten vs. similar teams OSU played and had a loss (I'll spot OSU a win over Sparty). Not to mention OSU fans were all over ND fans for squeking by in West Lafayette without Armando Allen, Michael Floyd, and only a few drives from Jimmy Clausen.Remember when you make your jokes that an ND team without some of its big stars did what a healthy Ohio State team didn't. Where's that put the buckeyes? Ohio State also lost to USC in heartbreaking fashion at home like ND did, and the game against Navy was comparable result. True, Ohio State beat Michigan, that evens out the fact we beat Purdue even though with balanced refs we beat Michigan by the same two scores Ohio State did.I think I recall someone saying ND's remaining schedule of USC, Pitt, Stanford, Navy, UConn and BC would produce less losses for Ohio State then their schedule of Penn St., Iowa and Michigan. I disagreed saying OSU would beat all of those teams but would lose to USC and at least one remaining team on our schedule. I also remember someone calling me foolish for saying Stanford was good and would go to a bowl. Hmmm, two top ten wins in a row later....

Oh, and yes, I did predict Stanford would beat Oregon immediately after Oregon stomped USC. Can't say no one saw that coming

OSU's in the Rose Bowl, ND is at home because they were too good for the toilet bowl LOL

Ya, the same OSU team that lost to Purdue, the worst USC team in a decade, and beat Navy at home by 4 on a returned 2 point conversion is representing the Big Ten in the granddaddy of them all. Thanks for proving my point, we are really afraid of the Big Ten. We wouldn't want to take Oklahoma and USC off our future schedules or Nebraska, Tennessee, LSU, UCLA, Pittsburgh and others off our schedules in the past decade to pick up more big ten teams than the UM, MSU, Purdue and Penn State Septembers that we've played lately. We'd be too scared...

oh shit, I happened to forget Florida State during their 14 year run of top 5 finishes. What a clutz!

8 of the teams on our schedule are going bowling, of the remaining 4 teams there are wins over OSU, USC and a 31 pt win over Cal... at least 6 of the teams on OSU's schedule aren't going to bowls. We are really afraid to take on that type of schedule...

So in the words of Ellen Griswold: sit down and shut up

Staring at their fourth straight BCS loss in a row!

I wouldn't count Ohio State out of the Rose Bowl. I think their Ends are good enough to control Masoli. If Ohio State can run the ball they have a very good shot at winning the game.

Sleeper, Notre Dame is terrible, we know that. You see that's why it is funny that ND beat Purdue.

Unfortunately that's a big if. I really hope we can run it efficiently, because while Pryor is a talented athlete, he's not the kind of guy that can take control of a game and win it for his team.

If we can contain Masoli and shut down the run (OSU's forte), then we should be good to go for a nice BCS victory, which would be quite a refreshing change of pace since 2005.
