I imagine Hoke, Bielema, and D'Antonio were leading the anti-Buckeye voting revolution by the Coaches.

    Shazier should be 1st team.

LOL! Mauti gets LB of the year, and Micah Hyde gets DB of the year over Roby!

Shazier had more sacks than Mauti had tackles for loss.

The rest of those asshats better get ready for some hundy hangin ass whippins...

Can't wait for shazier and Roby to come back and shove it up everyone's ass next year. Talk about a bunch of bitter whiney coaches

Hopefully Roby returns. I'd like to see Big Hank return as well, but I think he is gone. We're in a better position to replace Hank though.

Coach of the year will go to someone other than Urban; probably for his whole career.

I could see them both coming back.

This year it should go to bill o'brian. He did a hell of a job despite all those transfers.

CoY is usually always an underdog story.

+6 in the win category would be an underdog story in my book. Again, won't happen because Urban's not about making friends with the other coaches.

It should be, but OSU will never be an underdog story.

he did over achieve. But this was the easy year for him. The sanction will have more of an impact as time goes on. Remember OSU is coming off of a losing season, is under sanctions, and had players transfer out as well. Going from 7 losses to undefeated, finding a way to motivate players weekly with no post season to play for, under a completely new system is remarkable to me.

An OSU coach has not won COY since Earl Bruce in 1979. What a joke.

Not only B1G coy but National coy should go to the guy at Penn St.

Ohio st lost a bunch of non impact guys. Penn st lost there leading receiver, too rusher and there kicker which cost them a couple games this year. I agree though it will hurt penn st probably next year or the year after but I really like o'brian at penn st a very good coach.

agreed. I have mad respect for O'Brien. A good case could be made to have co-coaches of the year, IMO. You could argue either way.

Ohio State went undefeated. End of discussion.

Yeah agreed Meyer definitely deserves it also. But I think a lot of people expected Ohio st to be 11-1 or 12-0 that's what I think would hurt him

I don't care if the world expects Ohio State to win by 6,000 points a game for the next 300 years; You vote for the best coach in the B1G and that's Urban Meyer. Tressel pretty much ran the train on the B1G his entire career and didn't win once. What a joke.

You're an idiot and that's about it... except no it's not, because you're also a douche bag.

O'Brien should and will get the COY award. PSU overcame a really bad situation (not to mention losing some key players to transfer) and did a good job of persevering.

As for the Buckeyes, Urban has said that any good team needs to have a chip on its shoulder, a motivational tool, in order to play angry and become a great team. I'd say the B1G coaches just delivered a nice-sized chip for next season.

How Shazier didn't get LB of the year is ridiculous, let alone the fact he got 2nd team from the coaches. Along with Roby not getting DB of the year.

Great point, and I concur. Snubbing Brax and Shazier will add fuel to a fire that UA is already building, which he seems to have down to a science. Go Bucks!

I guess I can't say much because I honestly don't know much about the other league linebackers, but I did expect Shazier, and even Jake Ryan, to be first team B1G.
