Wolverines come off the tough loss in Lincoln, 23-9. Minnesota beat Purdue at home 44-28. It will be Michigan's first visit to Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium.

Sounds like Hoke is not concerned with Denard being available on Saturday:
Asked whether or not he was concerned Robinson wouldn't be available next week, Hoke replied "No." He also said the normal rehabilitation process for this type of injury is mainly rest and time.

Also, if any chatterers are headed to Minneapolis, glad to give you suggestions on places to go/eat/drink.

Looks like this injury may hinder DR's chances at the NCAA Rushing record by a QB.

    Michigan by 14.

    You think they'll tie? :D

I'm hoping they open up the offense a bit to give the offense some much needed confidence. It's quite clear that since the ND game, the game plan has been to minimize opportunities for turnovers, which is hard to do when your running game is shit.

Let's just hope Bellomy doesn't have to play. I really thought he could hold his own, but that is clearly not the case.

After what happened in Minny last weekend, this definitely isn't a "gimme" for tsun...I'll reserve my pick for later in the week.

Certainly it's a big step up from Purdue's defense to Michigan's. I'm excited to see how Nelson continues to progress at QB - he has been a revelation as a freshman (15-22, 246 yards, 3 TDs last week, plus 37 yards on the ground) - but I fully expect him to look like a freshman more than a few times in the remaining games.

it all depends on DR ,if he plays Michigan wins 28 14 if he dont play look for it to be ugly 35 to 16 for the Minn

Hoke sounds pretty confident that Robinson will be a full-go during practice this week, but will give Devin Gardner snaps at QB during practice: http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2012/10/live_updates_brady_hoke_update.html#incart_river

I'm not saying we would have won, but we would have had a much better shot on Saturday if we would have given DG a chance.

The more I look at the matchups with Robinson in there, the more I see a blowout for Michigan. Minnesota tends to give up big plays in the run game, although their pass defense is stout. It plays right into Michigan's hand with how their offense is set up when Denard is in.

Unfortunately (for me) I think Michigan takes this one by 17+.

Thought my TV was screwed up! Glad you posted this, the quality is awful.

I would be perfectly fine with Fitz not getting another carry the rest of the year.

Yeah I'd to see what Rawls can do. Especially with Gardner as QB.
  • WebFire
I am really liking what I see so far from Rawls.

I've been a Gardner at QB fan for a while. Today is not changing that.

huh, I don't recall you championing for Gardner
  • JU-ICE
Webfire: agree with both your last post, have always felt the team would have benefited more if Gardner was the Qb and used Denard as a Percy Harvin type receiver/runner.

Then you've not paid much attention. Hasn't been as much this year because of his move to WR (so it was out of the question), and I kind of assumed he may stay there next season if Morris or Bellomy are serviceable. But after this game, the coaches may see that he is the one to lead the team next year.
