That would be nice for sure.Trueblue23;1311083 wrote:I'd feel even better about Gardner/Green -
MulvaWhat a horrible fake.

Trueblue23Jake Ryan is probably the best football player on the entire team, and he's only going to get better.
-
WebFireHe should easily be 1st Team B1G this year.
-
WebFireWow. This is what a real QB looks like. See how much better Borges' play calling is as a result.

bigkahunaI was very pleased with the entire team performance yesterday. Nice to see the defense get back to it's typical 13 points/ game.
That'll win you a lot of games. -

That actually wasn't the best defensive performance for this group considering it was Minnesota. If I were opposing coaches, I'd work Floyd all day long, especially deep. What I do like, is that this group is giving up the fewest passing yards in the nation, and without it's best CB (potential B1G honors player). And our short, up the middle run game is solid.bigkahuna;1311966 wrote:I was very pleased with the entire team performance yesterday. Nice to see the defense get back to it's typical 13 points/ game.

I think the team played well with Gardner at the helm. Look beyond his individual performance, and you see better play calling because of his passing/decision making. You see extended and long scoring drives, keeping the defense off the field, etc.
I like Denard, but he is a great athlete playing QB. A QB he is not. Gardner even looks like a QB back there. Poised, knew when to run and committed to it, knew when to throw it away, etc. -
vball10setDidn't see a tsun random news thread, but here's hoping this perpetuates a B1G/SEC trend

To be honest, I was pumped when I saw it. I would love to see a B1G/SEC "challenge" (ala the B1G/AAC basketball challenge), but I know it'll never happen.WebFire;1314164 wrote:It's cool. Probably not enough people here care anyway.
