se-alumI'm hoping with Hall and Hyde available at the same time, we'll see the full OSU offense.

We'll see a lot more of it, but I don't think we'll see it all...I think UM's having this offense crawl before it walks, and each week we'll see more and more. At least I hope that's what he's doing.se-alum;1280613 wrote:I'm hoping with Hall and Hyde available at the same time, we'll see the full OSU offense. -
ricolaI don't think Urban is keeping this offense from opening up---i think the offensive players are keeping this offense from opening up. Aside from Braxton, we look very average on both sides of the ball. Just don't think we have the athletes to dominate anyone at this point, let alone beat very good teams. Doesn't look like MSU is a very good team, so we might have a chance here, but not optimistic. We could--and probably should--be easily 2-2 at this point.
Hoping within a couple years Urban can get some REAL (SEC-type) athletes in here and we'll see what happens. -
zach24ozOSU 23 MSU 17 Braxton has 300 yds of offense, J Hall has close to 100 yds, and think Hyde scores. Bell gets his 100yds rushing and scores both TDs for them. OSU's D stops them in the end to get the W in Sparty Land. (5-0)

WebFireAs much as it pains me to say it... Go Bucks.

I have to root for OSU for division reasons. Otherwise I'd be very conflicted!ricola;1280764 wrote:^^ kinda like when U of M plays notre dame for us. i actually found myself rooting for Michigan -

AutomatikUghhh I got a bad feeling about the game. I just want a W, I don't care how it happens.
With our tackling issues I could see Bell running wild. I hope I'm wrong. I'm heading to an OSU bar here. I have an awful streak going. I think the last 4 or 5 times I've been there we've lost. Hoping to change that Saturday! -
TiernanThis game will be won or loss by the OSU DL & LBs. Can they stop Bell on 3rd & < 4 yd situations? Can they pressure Maxwell into making mistakes? Can the LBs play effective pass coverage in the flats? The answer is yes the Bucks have the personnel but can those individuals execute? So far they have not been effective doing so. If Partly Cloudy Klein starts at MLB they will lose.

Just curious, what is your beef with Klein? I'm not a fan of his either, I'm just curious to know the reasoning behind your odd obsession with a college student/athlete.Tiernan;1280966 wrote:This game will be won or loss by the OSU DL & LBs. I have some bad visions regarding Bell and our inability to form tackle. I can see him running through numerous arm tackles and carrying our DBs past the chains. -
Tiernan
No personal beef. He's just a punk that's always been a punk and trust me this last little go around with roughing up a girl wasn't his first time. Others have been intimadated to come forward, both boys and girls.Automatik;1280971 wrote:Just curious, what is your beef with Klein? TiernanNo personal beef. But to paraphrase Linda Ronstadt..."He's no good, he's no good, he's no good...oh he's nooo good."

Why SHOULD OSU be 2-2 right now?ricola;1280688 wrote:I don't think Urban is keeping this offense from opening up---i think the offensive players are keeping this offense from opening up. zach24oz^^ Should/could have lost to Cal and UCF played good enough to win and if UAB just took a knee to end the 1st half down 2 they could have had a better chance, but they throw a INT which led to OSU scoring again.

I see no reason that OSU SHOULD have lost any of those games. They won all 3 of those games on their own merit. -
zach24ozShould have lost to Cal at least but did have a good final drive to win it...but they played bad enough to lose. Right? Their tackling has been poor, and offense hasn't been consistent, but hope they start turning that the other direction heading into this weekends game.

All you have to do is just watch him for a few plays, he does nothing, he can't move. he reads plays extremely slow and can't avoid or get off of blocks. Unfortunately, Grant has not been a lot better. Klein had 1 tackle and 1 assist in a starting role last week, that's the kind of production you want from your MLB. He's not the only one playing poorly but Tiernan's right he is no good, he was no good all of last year.Tiernan;1281029 wrote:No personal beef. Not really sure which game you were watching. Just because it's close at the end doesn't mean you can just throw out "they should have lost!" -

I don't think Meyer is personally holding it up, but we've had injuries, and I think this is the first week we'll see what they want the offense to be. I see Hall getting in to his Percy Harvin role much more. Philly Brown just wasn't good in that role, he's not an elusive runner.ricola;1280688 wrote:I don't think Urban is keeping this offense from opening up---i think the offensive players are keeping this offense from opening up. zach24ozI'm pretty sure that you weren't watching that game bc Cal had more passing and rushing yards and the game was tied at 28 until OSU scored towards the end...that's a game they "could" have lossed.

No one said anything about games osu could have lost. Saying they should have lost says that they won on some ridiculous fluke. Cal was not good enough to win the game. -
Iliketurtles17-13 MSU wins.
