More like you were trolling me calling me butthurt but you were wrong.

Nah, it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever for you to be butthurt that a guy who your team beat in college did well in the NFL later.

I have been saying all seasonand preseason that I don't know why people were hyping up USC so much. Lane Kiffin has yet to prove himself as a coach.

I did not think the B1G would be nearly as bad as they have been so far. I would say this is getting embarrassing if I bought into the whole root for a conference gig. But I have always thought that was stupid. I hate Wisconsin and Bielema so don't mind seeing them struggle. I hate UM so when they lose I don't care. And I really don't ever root for any B1G school besides OSU. I did want Michigan State to beat Notre Dame though as I dislike ND more than MSU. But even though that didn't happen, no sweat off my back.

All I care about is OSU continuing to improve (both offensively and defensively) and get ready to make a good run in conference play as this point it is possible to go undefeated with the struggles of some schools that were supposed to be good. Right now should they? No, but there is definitely room for improvement and a chance.

Doesnt answer my question, what did he do to earn that job? It seems like his name was always mentioned for top jobs and I dont get it. He didnt do a thing with the Raiders or with Tenn yet he's labeled as this up and coming talent....I dont see it

His dad was a legend. He's one of the best recruiters in the sport. Maybe he didn't prove he earned the job with his coaching...but I don't think hires are always made because of coaching skills. He's certainly kept USC in the spotlight and in the minds of recruits. They were in danger of losing this, especially given the transition of the Pac 12 and rise of Stanford and Oregon.

Kiffin didn't earn the Tennessee job either...but it's the same reason they hired him. Sometimes the name and ability to bring in sheer talent trumps coaching skills. The latter seems to be something many feel can be acquired on the job, while a very good coach can never be elite unless he's got very good talent.

USC went 23-3 the 2 years he was OC while establishing himself as a great recruiter. Not to mention one of the youngest OC's in college football and youngest HC's in the NFL ever.

I'm more interested in his record as a HC and not a coordinator. I stil think he's overhyped, sooner or later he needs to win something

You're obviously welcome to your opinion, but I maintain it's an entirely stupid opinion if you don't think what he did last year/what he's done this year (even STARTING the season ranked #1 in the country) is amazing given the circumstances he was presented.

Go figure. Utah whipping on BYU...

    Poor Colorado...

The ending to this Utah game is crazy. Fans rush field but there was still a second left. So it's a 56 yard try to tie the game. Kick is blocked bu while the play is till live, the fans and Utah players storm the field. It's a 15 yard penalty and now byu will get another chance to kick it. 36 harder.

Anyone watching byu Utah? Strangest ending to a game ever. Personal foul on the crowd for rushing the field while play was going on.
  • Midstate01
And he hits the upright. Wow!!!!!! Ball game. Craziest ending I've ever seen.

I said it in response to another of your posts last week, but Utah has a solid team. It probably won't show because Jordan Wynn got hurt (and then walked away from football), but this was an 8-9 win team with him, even in a pretty solid Pac-12. Without him, probably 5-7 wins.

Since when is UCLA not USC's rival? That's like saying Sparty is Michigan's rival.

According to Michigan fans that's true. Also to be a rival you gotta win sometimes.

And I consider psu a rival to osu. Wisky too.
