I would switch Clemson and south Carolina but it looks good -

You know, I thought about that too, but a case could be made to switch them with WVU & MSU as well, so I figured I'd leave it alone.Crimson streak;1265330 wrote:I would switch Clemson and south Carolina but it looks good -
cats gone wildI would put USC 4th or 5th, until they prove something.

I think wvu is a top 5 team actually. They are going to be very good as long as there d holds up -
bigkahunaWhy wouldn't Game Day go to WVU-Florida State?

Yea, because playing North Texas and Washington at home is really proving that you're worthy of a #3 ranking.cats gone wild;1265334 wrote:I would put USC 4th or 5th, until they prove something.
Just saw they get Idaho at home this week. Might as well send the crystal ball to Baton Rouge because they deserve it... -

Nvm, I must have heard something completely wrong from College Football Finale. They were talking about WVU and Florida State like they were playing this week...bigkahuna;1265390 wrote:Why wouldn't Game Day go to WVU-Florida State? -
bigkahunaUSC-Stanford
Notre Dame Michigan State are both better options for this week's Game Day. -

Um, LSU went to a title game last year, returns alot of their team, has a real QB this year, and totally annihilated a Pac 12 team who people thought would be decent. USC wasnt dominate last year, and gave up 29 points to a nobody yesterday. USC has alot more to prove than LSU. They are just a media darling. Remember, LSU was going to be ranked #1 if it wasnt for TM7 getting kicked off. They arent missing him.bigkahuna;1265394 wrote:Yea, because playing North Texas and Washington at home is really proving that you're worthy of a #3 ranking.

USC was 10-2 last year with nothing to play for. They took Andrew Luck's Cardinals to triple OT and had an embarrassing loss to ASU. They have arguably the #1 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft as well as the Hiesman favorite, a STABLE of running backs including 2 1,000 yd rushers in Curtis McNeal and Silas Redd, and 2 1,000 yd receivers in Marqise Lee and Robert Woods.cats gone wild;1265424 wrote:Um, LSU went to a title game last year, returns alot of their team, has a real QB this year, and totally annihilated a Pac 12 team who people thought would be decent. They are LOADED this year.
And the nobodies you speak of are the same nobodies that performed better against West Virginia than LSU did last year by scoring more points than the LSU and only giving up 2 MORE points than the vaunted LSU Defense. -
cats gone wildSounds like you got brain washed by ESPN or you are jumping on the USC bandwagon. USC wont sniff a title game this year. They wont get past Oregon twice.
-
bigkahunaNo, I'm just looking at numbers.
Keep hugging the SEC nuts as tightly as you can though because it sounds like you're on the SEC/ESPN nut hugging, chest thumping, SEC Bandwagon.
Unlike you, I go look up stats before I post. That's why you continue to look foolish.
Way to overlook the fact that Syracuse performed better against WVU than LSU did. -

Btw, USC and LSU had a common opponent last year. Who did better? And, USC got drilled by ASU, barely beat Minn, and gave up 35 plus points 3 times last year. Since we are talking last year, like Syracuse mattered against WVU, lol. -
cats gone wildNov 3 could be the "week of the century" for college football if the top 4 hold up til then. Bama vs LSU and USC vs ORE

You said Syracuse was a nobody. I merely pointed out that even though they were 5-7, they did better against a common opponent than LSU did (West Virginia).
You said LSU has a "real" QB this year. Well, show me his stats that prove he's "real." USC has the #1 NFL Draft Pick/Heisman Favorite, 2 1,000yd backs, 2 1,000yd receivers. There I just proved to you what USC has.
Week 2 is a little early to decide if 2 teams have played scrubs up to this point are legit or not. Let's wait until they both play someone with some merit. Better yet, let's wait until LSU leaves Death Valley. -

4th or 5th? Who the hell is ahead of them?cats gone wild;1265334 wrote:I would put USC 4th or 5th, until they prove something.
I see 3rd, fine, it is early whatever. But, 5th?
BTW, it is week 2. Nothing is settled yet.
Also saying USC will not snuff the title game is one of the dumbest things I have heard.
Look, I get it, you love LSU and the SEC, but come on, you cannot disregard the offense that is USC.
And if anyone wants to talk brainwash by ESPN, it is the SEC. We are force fed it now all year.
It is only September. Polls and rankings mean jack right now. -

Because they played 1 game and blew out a bad Marshall team? No. And their "D" gave up 39 points to them.Crimson streak;1265358 wrote:I think wvu is a top 5 team actually. They are going to be very good as long as there d holds up
They'll get torched in Big 12 play when they can't outscore another pass-happy team (Texas Tech/Okla)
