How many?

    National Championships + B1G Championships

For Urban Meyer in his minimum 7 year career with Ohio State. Obviously, due to the NCAA and Ohio State collaborated and decided to forgo a post season this year to restore the integrity and ethics of Ohio State completely, Urban will only have 6 chances at each. 12 total.

    Thoughts?
  • Automatik
I really do think he will win AT LEAST one national title.
  • vball10set
    I'll say 1 NC & 3 B1G 'ships, for a total of 4
  • Fly4Fun
5 B1G and 2 Nationals (I'm setting my hopes high).

6 B1G and 3 titles is my expectations. Read that again, 6 B1G titles in 6 years.
  • Rotinaj
    I'll go with 4 B1G titles and 1(MAYBE 2) national championships.
  • Pick6
    Ill go 4 or 5 B1G and 2 Nattys

0 national titles, and 3 or 4 Big Ten titles
  • sjmvsfscs08
    4 B1Gs, 0 Nat'ls
  • Speedofsand
3 or 4 B1G titles, no BCS titles, and he will be there over 10 years. He will need to keep working to pay for his divorce in a few years.
  • dat dude
    NC in 2013, possibly more.

Tressel vs Meyer Who's the better coach?
Meyer will be the coach at Ohio State at least as long as Tressel.
Tressel won 7 Big Ten Titles and got to 3 National Games. Winning the National title game is often a crap shoot.
Meyer win at least 7 Big Ten titles and get to at least 3 National Title games.

Urban Meyer is part of why this country is in the crapper. He is, after all, a Baby Boomer. If he does win a NC and a few BIG titles it won't be because he worked hard to earn them. It will be because the government subsidized them via taxpayer dollars. ;)

I'll take Tressel over Meyer for the time being.
  • Automatik
After watching the recent all access programs I'm going with Meyer and it's not really close.

I think that he will win some b10 titles, but no national titles. I dont see him staying 7 years either. Maybe 3 or 4. If he ends up not having any health conditions, then you will know it was a fake way to get out of coaching at UF and to go somewhere else in the future. But, at least he shared a year of his time with his family that he supposedly missed. Oh wait, nevermind. He worked for ESPN.

Meyer has currently won zero B1G titles. It definitely is not really close but the other way.

I'm going on based on my observations regarding team culture, environment, staff and the new system. I loved JT, but I feel a lot of us were blinded but his B10 success and ignored his shortcoming as a coach.

I expect Meyer to have similar or even surpass the success of Tress.

He does have two SEC titles.

one SEC title = five B1G titles.

Well if you are basing it on that, then I agree.

I don't get why so many people are predicting that he will win 0 national titles.
