Winning the B1G where you have to play Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Purdue, Illinois, Nebraska, and Northwestern every year is much more difficult then waking up 2 Saturday's a year and play Alabama or LSU(assuming you are in the West because the East is terrible).sjmvsfscs08;1253719 wrote:He does have two SEC titles.
one SEC title = five B1G titles. -

lol...have you seen CCW's posting history? He wouldn't say anything positive about OSU if you had a gun to his head.ernest_t_bass;1253729 wrote:I don't get why so many people are predicting that he will win 0 national titles. -

SpeedofsandOSU has 1 National Title in the last 40 years, what makes you losers think they will win another any time soon?

New coach with a proven track record of success, new system, killin' it in recruiting. JT brought them there 3 times, what makes you think Urban can't/won't? -

Hard to when a title when you play in the toughest conference in the country. B1G teams are worn down from a grueling schedule year in and year out. It's nothing like the SEC where you wake up once a year to play Alabama and if you win you go to the title game and if you lose you go to the title game. What a joke.Speedofsand;1253783 wrote:OSU has 1 National Title in the last 40 years, what makes you losers think they will win another any time soon? -

As someone else said, one title in 40 years. And, OSU is the only team to win 1 BCS championship in the 14 years its been around (because of a bad call). You got too many SEC teams that are great, and then in the future you might have USC/Choklahoma/Oregon/FSU and such competing. Its just too hard for one team to make it into the top 2 with 117+ teams with the same goal. At least playing in the B10 will give OSU an easier road on getting to a BCS game. But, Mich wont be a pushover like the last 6 years.Automatik;1253743 wrote:lol...have you seen CCW's posting history? He wouldn't say anything positive about OSU if you had a gun to his head. -

Not like you really had any, but you just all credibility with that "bad call" comment. I'm not surprised.cats gone wild;1254108 wrote:As someone else said, one title in 40 years. Win*. Since Ohio state is better than Harvard and Stanford I would think they would teach you proper grammar. -

I don't like Ohio state and I think this is one of the most retarded posts I have seen. -

Ignorant tool. He worked 2 days a week for 5 months out of one year for ESPN. The balance of the time was spent with his family.cats gone wild;1253675 wrote:I think that he will win some b10 titles, but no national titles. I dont see him staying 7 years either. Maybe 3 or 4. I see you are uneducated as far as Meyer's health issues at Florida.
According to his wife.
He was only getting a couple of hours sleep a night. He wasn't eating at all or eating the wrong foods. He lost 20 pounds. He was not working out at all. He slept in his office most nights rarely seeing his family. The negative recruiting, personal attacks, 5-Star recruit's posses, parents telling him Florida had to pay them more money than other schools had offered. He tried to take on all of those negative issues himself. All of the above led to his health issues.
The year he was with ESPN he spoke with physicians, psychologists, doctors, other coaches from high profile programs AND his family. He now knows he must get enough sleep, must eat correctly, must exercise, must spend quality time with his family and ONLY worry about what he has control over.
Forget about Ohio State football, let's hope for his well being and his family he can maintain a much more healthy agenda. Thus far he has.
Ohio State is his dream job. He has said that ever since he was a young kid he wanted to be a coach and his final career stop would be Ohio State.
Only 3 or 4 years at Ohio State??? Want to bet your net worth VS my net worth.....a great bet for you....I have no use for your skate board. -
