goosebumpsGot into an argument with a buddy who claimed that there isn't a team that ND has never beaten, Honestly not sure how it was brought up, but I found this site. Pretty cool, Lets you look up all-time records of one team against any other team they've played. Maybe I'm late to the party on this website, but Its a pretty sweet site.

THE4RINGZI believe Ohio State is also 0-2 vs. The College of Wooster.
Might not show up on the site because C.O.W. is an NAIA not an NCAA school. -

[/LEFT]As of the 2008 season, Ohio State leads the series 3-2. Ohio State won games in 1995, 1996, and 2006. Notre Dame won games in 1935 and 1936.

sleeperYeah 1935 and 1936. Did OSU even have a team back then? I think OSU lost to Upstairs Medical College of California Irving back in 1935 as well.
I've always advocated that ND and OSU should meet every year for the next 100 years. It would be the equivalent talent of a MAC school but with a larger fan base that will actually spend the off season hyping the game with off handed comments like, "We are going to roll into Columbus and win this year"(this will happen every year) only to be blown out by 2+ TDs. Then of course, after that happens we'll hear about how the game was in doubt in the 4th quarter with OSU up by 21 points and that if ND hadn't let OSU score 3 TDs they would have only lost the game by a FG. Finally, for the next year until they play again we'll hear about how great ND is suppose to be next year and that this year they are just rebuilding; and on and on.
ND will never beat a top 5 team or win a BCS bowl game. Ever. Not now, not ever, not in a million years, not in 10 million years. Never. -
sleeperI'll add that its not really ND's fault. They recruit only the best and brightest and forget that the best and brightest aren't good at football. They are not good. ND is not good. I think its hilarious that all of these ND fans hoped on the bandwagon that is an empty suit. Anyone under 25 has never seen ND win a game that's even made a blip on the CFB radar. Their best win in the last 20 years is a close loss to USC. I mean seriously? Your best win is a loss? And then they hadn't won a bowl game in 10 tries and they finally beat a hapless WAC team in a bowl game only to declare that "ND is back". Back to what? Losing more bowl games.

Well actually if they are 24-25 they may have seen nds last national title, they just might not remember . Also the beat number 1 ranked Florida st in 1993. In the game of the century. And in 93&94 they beat Texas a&m who was ranked 3rd and 6th. There's many others I really don't remember or care to look up. But nice try -

Yeah 1993 is only like 20 years ago. :rolleyes:Crimson streak;1248376 wrote:Well actually if they are 24-25 they may have seen nds last national title, they just might not remember . Look I'll tell you what. If Ohio State ever gets to the point where we have to go back 19 years to find a decent game that we won, then I will admit Ohio State is not good. However, considering Ohio State just had its worse season maybe ever and we still beat Wisconsin who won the B1G championship(Aka the best conference), that will never happen. Considering we just got the best coach in the game and we hauled in a recruiting class that is one of the best ever, I think I will die before I ever seen OSU go 20 years without a relevant win.Crimson streak;1248382 wrote:19 actually -

Speedofsandand the only reason Ohio State has not beaten all of those SEC teams on their list is because of weather.

Spare me. How many BCS bowl games have you won? You know, against teams that actually have proven to be one of the best in the country? The answer is zero, 0-3. Zero. None. Zip. You share more in common with MAC schools than any BCS school. -

Not the same Michigan team that blew it against app st. I'm not denying nd hasn't been very good the last 15 years. All I'm saying is they have won some big games whether you believe it or not. I'm

Based on? They have a shit coach who's never won a BCS bowl and gets on TV more for his irrational outbursts rather than the games that he's won. Their recruits are paper recruits; it's the culture of losing that permeates throughout the entire organization. They won't win anything, not now and not ever.Crimson streak;1248417 wrote:Not the same Michigan team that blew it against app st. I'm not denying nd hasn't been very good the last 15 years.
