Navy vs. Notre Dame

  • slingshot4ever
It has otherwise been a blowout...not much to talk about. Navy is bad and ND is playing really well. Please note how I posed my comment about 2 pt attempt as a question. You always get so butt hurt about ND. Chill out.

    Cam looks pretty shifty.

Is this the first Toma has played? Didn't remember seeing him earlier.

Outside of the one sack, the Irish rushed for 301.

Overall, pretty happy with the game. Offense looked solid (with the exception of Golson's interception). I was very impressed with the rushing attack.

Secondary looked like shit. I'm hoping that was just because they were stacking the box to stop the option. But even still, the corners should be able to go man-to-man with a WR from Navy and hold him in check. But they were out of position on just about every pass play.

But it's always good to start the season with a W. Especially a dominant one.

Danny Mac had quite a few plays today. Pretty proud of my boy!

Tough day for the Midhsipmen. They were dominated at the line of scrimmage and didn't execute well offensively at all.

They have two weeks now to prepare for Penn State.

Not a good day at all, Alma--ND took your boys to the woodshed...good luck vs. PSU!

    Catholic schools are stupid.
  • Con_Alma
No surprises though...other than the turnovers and penalties. That will be changed.

Classy as usual ND at the end piling it on a group of athletes that have more integrity in their big toes than Brian Kelly will ever have.

    They deserved it
  • Con_Alma
I don't think they were piling it on. Navy needed to stop them and couldn't.

Putting your second team in with 4 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter is piling on? Running the ball with your fourth string RB to close out the game is piling it on? Did you want ND to just start taking a knee in the second half?

Sorry man...but in a game where you have to impress poll voters, there is no such thing as piling it on. Are you upset that OSU piled it on Miami? Are you upset that Oklahoma State piled on Savannah? Or are you just showing your bias?
