NBA Early Entrants Official Thread

Given his brother's success, Teague will go high. Higher than his performance on the year. Higher potential than any of them...

Fuck, I forgot about Teague. Id probably take him 1st, actually.

EDIT: Never mind. Thought about it.

    1. Lillard
    2. Burke
    3. Teague
    4. Marshall

I like Burkes scoring, not big on pass first PGs as impact in the NBA anymore.

Until Burke makes it official you never know. If he was sure he would have made the announcement. He's probably scared after seeing what happened to his buddy Sullinger this year but he also has the chance to move up unlike Jared.

A kid that I really like is Royce White, I would be ok with the Cavs drafting him with their 2nd round pick.

Burke is a late 2nd or undrafted player. He should stay.

He's late 1st early 2nd according to his evaluation.

I would say early 2nd at latest. No way he is undrafted.
  • Azubuike24
It's taken a hit because outside of his size and flashes, he's had 2 years and the biggest stage to prove he's more than potential. He hasn't done it.

Others with similar size and skills (or even less skills) have produced more, played harder and done it more consistently.

    Burke or Sullenger?

Gotta' be Sullinger, since Burke's only played a year of college ball
  • Laley23
Isaiah Canaan coming back to Murray State for his SR year.

Assumed so but prior posts to his were talking about Burke.

Not an OSU fan, so that's why I haven't learned or cared to spell SullInger's name right. Haha.

    Perry Jones. Haha.

To go along with the Canaan announcement to return.

James Michael McAdoo also returning, to North Carolina.

    Huge boost to UNC.
  • wildcats20
    Thank you Jesus.
  • Azubuike24
Amazing how things can change. If Strickland and McDonald return, UNC becomes a Final Four contender. It will be a completely different look, but imagine if they get Oriakhi?

Marcus Paige (lots of pressure on this Freshman)
    Dexter Strickland
    P.J. Hairston
    Reggie Bullock
    James McAdoo

    Leslie McDonald
    J.P. Tokoto
    Justin Watts
    Joel James
    Brice Johnson

Oriakhi would make their front line from weak to one of the best duos in the nation (with McAdoo). They would have the potential to be a much more fast-paced team who would rely a lot more (and be a lot more capable) of making the 3-point shot.
  • wildcats20
Where would Dex and Leslie go?

I haven't seen anything about them even considering leaving. The only reason Leslie red shirted was to come back this year. He could have played had he wanted to.
  • Azubuike24
Return HEALTHY. Especially Strickland. He tore an ACL in January. It's not a sure-fire given that he's back to 100% all year...

Not related to them leaving UNC...
  • wildcats20
ok gotcha. I was a little unsure.
  • ironman02
So relieved that McAdoo is coming back. He has the potential to be VERY good next season.

Would love to get Oriakhi to come to Chapel Hill.

With Paige coming in, and Strickland, McDonald, Bullock, and Hairston returning, there's plenty of depth and experience at the guard positions. If Oriakhi doesn't come to The Hill, McAdoo will carry the load by himself inside at first, but James and Johnson could contribute significantly once they make the transition to college ball. Tokoto on the wing has unreal athleticism. If he gets more consistent with his jumper, he could be really good. Hubert will probably still get garbage minutes, but could be a decent rebounder/shot blocker.

No crazy expectations for this team. Should be fun to see how they do.

By the way, Watts is a senior this year. He's gone.
  • Azubuike24
Thought Watts had a year left. My bad.
  • Midstate01
    Any word on Beal yet?
  • Laley23
    Nothing on Beal

But sounds like Peyton Siva is coming back for another year.
