Congrats on the victory, sir.Azubuike24;1135237 wrote:Heck of a comeback for KU. I really thought someone had them buried. When Lamb hit the 2nd three of the back-to-back, I thought it might be cruise city. Not at all. They almost cut it to one possession.
Hell of a team. -
Azubuike24College basketball is all about match-ups too.
I'm not sure Florida's perimeter players of Green, Humphrey and Hodge (all under 6'1, the first 2 were under 6'0) would have been able to do anything against Kentucky's length. Clearly UF had the advantage with Horford, Noah and Richard, but not by a ton.
Corey Brewer vs MKG would've just been a freaking battle...to the death. -
Azubuike24The Duke 2010 and Connecticut 2011 teams were both weak. The entire Final Four last year was weak. NONE would have made the FF this year, maybe UK or UConn over this year's Louisville team...maybe. In other years, none of them would have sniffed it.

wildcats20No pics of the shooting?
-
GOONx19The shooting was in a bad part of town. I'm not even sure it was celebration related. And the guy that got shot had a warrant out for a felony in Indiana.
-
wildcats20Just giving ya a hard time.

As much as I can remember, it was one of the best nights of my life.bigkahuna;1136054 wrote:Sweet pic Goon; would have been awesome to be down there. -
GOONx19This one is actually where I was, downtown. That first picture is from the main party street. I watched the Louisville game at that spot and wanted to be downtown for last night.

SportsAndLadyThomas Robinson is my favorite Jayhawk of all time. He's a guaranteed top 5 pick, gonna make millions of dollars, and look at this pic:

wildcats20Maybe he was just sad that Danny was leaving?

No that would be me crying over thatwildcats20;1138244 wrote:Maybe he was just sad that Danny was leaving? -
wildcats20Yeah, that's a big loss for KU.
Whenever Self leaves(who knows when that will be), Danny(depending on how he does at Tulsa) would be a great "rehire". -

We'll see how he does at Tulsa first. He can obviously coach bigs, but can he coach other positions? Can he make game adjustments? Can he create "team chemistry"? We shall see.wildcats20;1138250 wrote:Yeah, that's a big loss for KU.
