I have said that Wisconsin now is almost exactly what Ohio State used to be under O'Brien. Not a bunch of 5-star players or All-America but a system that can give you some success but not championship success.dazedconfused;1127320 wrote:wisconsin's style with athletes -
chicago510Some life from Baylor. Finally.

Crimson streakThat's a bs call let them play

ptown_trojans_1Flop, flop, flop.
Give him an Oscar... -

That's why I said on a national level. B1G titles and good seasons w/ a bunch of nobodies is good and all, and it definitely makes him a good coach; but on a national level, he will never win anything unless he actually gets top recruits or goes to a better program.ytownfootball;1127357 wrote:Disagree. He does more with a bunch of cheese eatin' white guys than anyone I know. I think he'd have been to a couple final fours with any semblance of talent whatsoever lol. -
Azubuike24Baylor has flopped a ton. Darius Miller just flopped on the under 8. Like the IU game, the 2nd half has been crazy with fouls called.
It's no coincidence that UK has been in the double bonus half the tournament. They are relentless attacking. -
Midstate01I don't understand teams trying to play the run game with uk. That's stupid. Play d. I realize Baylor can't because they never do. But iu's gameplan was stupid too
-
Azubuike24Now they have decided to call every hand check. Every possession...this game tipped at 2:20 PM. It won't end until probably 5:00 PM.

mallymal614Looks like its going to be a bluegrass state semi final. CBS has to be drooling. Kentucky, Louisville, North Carolina/Kansas, and Ohio State in the Final Four? The ratings might be out the charts.
-
Azubuike24PJIII a bit dirty on that oop to Davis. He didn't try to jump with him, he just undercut him...
-
wes_mantoothI am starting to think that Kentucky might have too much talent for Calipari to find a way to choke it away. I still have faith that he will find a way though.
-
reclegend22Everybody seems to really hate Scott Drew. Would he be considered at an elite hoops school, if the job opened up? Or is he happy in Texas?
Love, hate him, feel indifferently, Drew has brought a program back to life and in a big way. Even if it is just because he's a good (maybe dirty) recruiter. -
slingshot4everTime for KU UNC....
-
slingshot4everMarshall ruled out, will not dress.
-
chicago510UK is up there with 2007 Florida and 2009 UNC in terms of most talented teams of the decade. They are scary good.

While he hasn't proven to be an elite in-game coach...look at the cohesiveness of the team.wes_mantooth;1127396 wrote:I am starting to think that Kentucky might have too much talent for Calipari to find a way to choke it away. I still have faith that he will find a way though.
The last 2 years, for the most part, he's recruited great talent, but also the RIGHT talent. Personalities have gelled, the team has improved, there hasn't been dissension about NBA hype, awards, stats, etc... -
GOONx19The UK/Louisville game will be close. I'm worried, but ecstatic.

SportsAndLadyROCK CHALK

SportsAndLadyI'll be so pissed off if Stilman White has a monster game..lol

Azubuike24Baylor post-game questions.
Reporter flat out asks Perry Jones III "where was your intensity in the 1st half?"
He had to fight back tears.
I'm not a Baylor fan, but they certainly haven't really earned the best reputation and it's really unfair the way the media is sticking it to these guys. Scott Drew is handling it well... -
Midstate01Robinson sure does talk a lot of trash.
-
wildcats20That's 2 clear travels they didn't call. Both leading to points
