And we're well within our rights to say it was bullshit. If you don't give a fuck then don't respond, and the conversation will die off.

I am really doubting my final four prediction for cuse. I didn't see them a lot, but really....they are just tall and athletic, but not much bball skills.

Hell, I didn't pick Syracuse to make the Final Four. After Melo was ruled ineligible, why would you pick them?

    Good season for Syracuse bball
    - Child molestation
    - Boeheim sticking his foot in his mouth
    - Cover up drug violations
    - Starting center may legit be retarded
    - Should have lost to a 16 seed

Hopefully KSU can put the nail in the coffin Saturday

You're right, I wasn't officiating. But I'm not dumb enough to believe that was Syracuse ball.

A foul wasn't called. It doesn't matter what should have been called. It was Asheville ball and the refs just handed the ball to Cuse and said play.

Another underwhelming win for Syracuse goes down as the least surprising part of the day so far.

You had two days to change your picks

I care, considering he is a better basketball referee than that trash we saw today.

Syracuse should be disqualified for having more than 5 players on the court at the end of the game. I counted 5, plus the zebras.

How many games can Syracuse steal that they don't deserve just because of their name?

#1 Lack of goaltending call in the first half would be worth 2 points minimum for UNC-Asheville rather than the 1 made on the free throw.
#2 Bogus foul called on an and-1 late in the first half. There was absolutely no contact and gave 3 points to Syracuse.
#3 Bogus lane violation late on a missed free throw gave Syracuse 2 more points
#4 Terrible call when the ball went clearly went off of the Syracuse player's hand.

I'll give you the fact that Cuse should have been at the free throw line at the end of the first half for a 1 and 1 because the foul occurred before the shot-clock expired.

Terrible officiating in this game and I would have pelted the refs with whatever I could find if I was at this game, even if I had to go to jail.

There are a lot of times where the call is REALLY close (offensive board or something) and instead of calling the foul the Ref gives the team the ball instead. That I like.

But when it is CLEARLY off a certain team, you cant get away with it. Call the foul, or give Asheville the ball. You cant just give Syracuse the ball there. That, is plain bullshit. No other way around it.

#3 was a good call. You can't enter the arc from outside it til the ball hits the rim in the college game. And that is who they called the violation on.

You are. All I'm saying is if me citing Len Elmore's opinions means nothing because he wasn't officiating than I can say someone on here's opinion means the same for that same reason.
  • Laley23
Also, first half would have been an and-1 for Cuse. Not a 1 and 1.

Agreed. Shoulda calked the foul committed. And if not....UNCA ball. Make the first call right and you don't have to worry about the 2nd.

I'm arguing the obvious goaltend and obvious out of bounds play are INEXCUSABLE for a NCAA tournament level ref to miss.

Another bogus ass rule that was probably made up to benefit Syracuse and only Syracuse. I have NEVER seen that rule enforced in ANY college game before.

Triche got slapped on the arm at the end of the 1st half with 1 second remaining on the shot clock. It was plain as day.

    OK.

It's still in the rule book. It was the right call.

Fair enough. Obvious fouls should be called too though. And Syracuse didn't get two obvious foul calls.

That's why a couple others on here agree with me on a call or two. Laley and wildcats20 are blind Syracuse homers too. LOL
