Cleveland BuckWho would your #1 seeds be? Looking purely at resumes, mine would be:
Syracuse
Michigan State
Kentucky
Kansas
2 seeds would be:
Duke
Baylor
North Carolina
Ohio State
And these can obviously still change a bit before the conference tourneys are over. -

Laley23Michigan State has to win the B1G. Losses to Duke and UNC will hurt them, mainly UNC since they are fighting them more than Duke imo.
-
ptown_trojans_1Kentucky
Syracuse
Mizzou if they win the B12
MSU or OSU if they win the B1G
Twos are:
MSU or OSU
Duke
Carolina
Kansas -
reclegend22Whoever wins the ACC will get a one seed regardless of anything else that happens around the country. Dick Vitale, who obviously is an ACC-centric announcer, thinks that both Duke and UNC would get ones if Duke were to cut down the nets in Atlanta tomorrow. The Blue Devils, however, are in serious trouble of leaving town early today and that would be the end of that.
Edit: IF the ACC title game is Duke vs. UNC. -
Crimson streakNo way duke gets a 1 seed unless they win the acc tourney
-
ptown_trojans_1Carolina I can see a one, Duke no way.
Mizzou, Kansas, and OSU (were they to win today and play tomorrow) still have better resumes than Duke. -

Duke goes down.Crimson streak;1111572 wrote:No way duke gets a 1 seed unless they win the acc tourney
I am also tired of hearing about MSU being a #1 seed. MSU luv fest is about nausiating. No mention of OSU if they win. I'd say they have as good or better a resume for the 4th #1 as anyone does. -
slingshot4everExcept that KU beat them head to head....

While that is true, I don't imagine the committee will really look at that game since Sully didn't play. -

Barely, except Sully didn't play and it was at Kansas..slingshot4ever;1111715 wrote:Except that KU beat them head to head.... -

This. KU and OSU resume are almost identical. Similar SOS and RPI. Same record. Difference "could be" OSU winning conference tourney in toughest conference. If OSU beats MSU tomorrow.Terry_Tate;1111725 wrote:While that is true, I don't imagine the committee will really look at that game since Sully didn't play. -

PrescottI don't want a #1 seed for OSU. That would likely send them to Phoenix. A #2 would keep them closer to home.

slingshot4ever^^^
Nope. It's a loop around, top 2 seed goes to same region of lowest one seed... -
slingshot4everIf OSU wins that probably spots KU AND OSU as 4 and 5 overall seeds sending both out west.
-
hoops23If OSU wins the B1G, they're a #1 seed.

chicago5104-7 are all virtually even for me. OSU, MSU, Mizzou and KU all have very similar resumes.
MSU and KU were #1 seeds a week ago, but both have faltered a tad. OSU and MU are hot right now.
I would give it to the B1G winner for winning the regular season and conference title of the hardest conference in America. -
Azubuike24Missouri vs the top 50 = 11-3, overall 30-4, Conference Champions
Ohio State vs the top 50 = 11-4, overall 28-6, Conference Champions*
Ohio State vs the top 50 = 11-5, overall 27-7, Conference Champions*
*Barring the outcome of tomorrow's game.
I'm not sure how, presented with that, Missouri doesn't get the final #1 seed.
1. Kentucky
2. Syracuse
3. North Carolina*
4. Missouri
5. B1G Winner
6. Kansas
7. B1G Loser
8. Duke -
ironman02Locks: Kentucky, Syracuse.
I think Carolina has a #1 seed basically locked up, but I suppose they could drop to the two line if they lose tomorrow.
Mizzou and the B1G winner are obviously competing for that final spot. Personally, I think Mizzou deserves the #1 seed no matter what, but I wouldn't be surprised if the B1G champ gets it instead. -
ichsnjbIt say NC, Ohio State, Syracuse, and Kentucky.
