Id have to go pull up their resume, unless soemone already has on this thread and i can just go look at it

If that all happens, great. What are chances though? If you get the last #1, you are certianly away from those teams.

Same records, very similar RPI and SOS. OSU in best conference, wins regular season and tourney. Kansas that is. Mizzou might be in mix, but their SOS is not good. Played no one in per conf. schedule.

If they beat MSU id say they have a legit argument for the 3rd or 4th #1 seed

UK, 'Cuse and UNC have top 3 locked up already. Only question right now is the last #1 seed.

Between Duke, Kansas, MSU and OSU pretty much right?

Duke lost today. They are out of discussion. Right now, its really down to OSU, KU, MSU and maybe Mizzou.

Dook has no chance after the loss today to FSU.

Duke has to be out of it I think. Definitely seems like winner of OSU-MSU will be 4th #1 with Kansas and Duke not even playing in their conference championship games, but maybe the committee already has their mind made up on the 1 seeds and OSU/MSU are both 2s.

And you could be right. I wonder if they then put the highest 2 seed with the lowest 1 seed? Of course, its far from perfect science. OSU was shafted last year with the top overall seed and the teams they put in their bracket. So who knows.

Agree. Past 2 years I've felt Ohio State had the hardest region, last year no question, so I don't really care about a 1 or 2, just the difficulty of the region. No UK or UNC, obviously no MSU and ill be happy. Missouri and Baylor would be tough, but I feel good about Ohio State against anyone that's not UK or UNC.

The Big 10 deserves a 1 seed imo, the winner tomorrow should get the last number 1.

The chances of getting a high #2 are almost a certainty, and being away from the the #1 and #2 overall seeds (Ky & 'Cuse) is a benefit of that.

Jay Bilas said that's how it's done, thus my reason for hoping for a high #2 seed.

The only seed that is "ranked" are the four 1's.

According to this article by Seth Davis, he talks about the possibility of Duke(prior to today) being the highest ranked #2, yet still being played in same bracket as UK. So I don't think the above logic applies.

I'm just going by what Bilas said yesterday, so I guess we'll have to wait and see. Regardless, we've really positioned ourselves well...GO BUCKS!!

Actually, they rank everyone, 1-68 and those will be released this year. The placement of the seeds is the question.

Not true. The committee ranks them, even though it's not shown on the brackets.

Is that new for this year? Because in the past they have always said that only the 1's are ranked.

    Edit.

Never mind. It's just that they don't give the number 1 overall the 4th 2. My bad.

I believe they started to do that not long ago. But never released to media. They are going to release their overall rankings this after the bracket is released. Its in that Seth Davis SI article I posted.

...Aaron Craft chipped in six points, four dimes and three steals while demolishing Trey Burke. In the PG matchup everyone wanted to see again, Craft limited Burke to five points on 1/11 shooting with eight turnovers. Burke’s first bucket was a meaningless one that cut Ohio State’s lead to 58-38 with just under seven minutes left in regulation.

Michigan's plan has played out perfectly. You see, historically, the winner of the B1G doesn't fare too well in the NCAA tourney. Michigan lost today to avoid that happening to them.

Man OSU might be screwed! :D
