Eh I like wood but GAIII if given the same carries wood has gotten we would see similar production.

Yeah, I think Wood is pretty damn good.

I don't think that he has ever been in any trouble before so 2 games seems appropriate to me regardless of who the opponents are in particular weeks.
Ok good. So your statement about math was just you being an asshole. Thanks.

    Suspended indefinitely (Wood).
  • killer_ewok
2-game suspensions for Cierre Wood and Justin Utupo for violation of team rules.
  • Crimson streak
I guess they weren't arrested or failed a drug test. My guess is someone saw them smoking possibly?
  • karen lotz
Zach Martin, Tyler Eifert, Kapron Lewis-Moore, and Manti Te'o named captains.

Espn has ND ranked number 1 for the toughest schedule

College football success comes with a few "bad citizens" on the team?

    LOL

I found it funny he used osu as an example, but otherwise he's an idiot and hopefully won't have a job.

So does Phil Steele. Things can and most likely will change but that is a tough slate.

    LOL
Pinkett said some dumbass shit. SMH

I heard the Pinkett quote on the radio today. Wow.
  • vball10set
"I've always felt like to have a successful team you've got to have a few bad citizens on the team," Pinkett said on WSCR-AM 670. "That's how Ohio State used to win all the time. They would have two or three guys that were criminals and that just adds to the chemistry of the team. I think Notre Dame is growing because maybe they have some guys that are doing something worthy of a suspension which creates edge on the football team.

"I absolutely meant that," Pinkett said. "The chemistry is so important on a football team. You have to have a couple of bad guys that sort of teeter on that edge to add to the flavor of the guys that are going to always do right because that just adds to the chemistry of the football team. You have to have … you look at the teams that have won in the past, they have always had a couple of criminals."
So, is he saying that the ND teams of the 70's & 80's had a "couple of criminals" on their squads? As Mike & Mike used to say...just shut up!

Pat Forde with a response to Pinkett's comments and Rick Reilly's comments from a couple weeks ago...

The problem hasn't been getting good players it's been the coaching hires they have made. Brian Kelly has gotten the recruits on both sides of the ball now he just needs to put it all together on the field.
  • Tiernan
ND needs mo' bling and Nines to get back in the winners circle.
  • karen lotz
Pinkett won't call the game Saturday (he's already in Ireland) but no decision has been made about his future.

There schedule is pretty loaded. But I do think that's a good point about things changing. IMHO it's more important how the teams finished than how they started.

ND does have a pretty good variety (B1G, Pac 20, Big East, ACC, Big 12)on their schedule, and only a few cream puffs. (I'm trying to give credit here, not take shots.)

Really the only "cream puffs" are navy, wake, purdue. I wouldn't really call those cream puffs

Might be getting some good recruiting news soon regarding a recent Stanford decommit.

Suppose to commit by the end of the weekend. Just when I thought this lb class couldn't get any better. Now we just need Alexander, cole, or Moore and I'll be extremely happy with this class
