holdingoutBucks better be ready to play or Gophers will lay one on them.

Laley23The Barn is a tough place, but Tubbys squad just doesnt have it this year without Mbakwe. They gave a valiant effort this season, to be fair. But I just dont think they have enough.

chicago510Will with the quickest/smoothest 7 I've seen him get this year.

Midstate01Dakich has to be one of the worst commentators I've ever heard!!
-
Laley23
Why do you say that? I think he is great, as do most people I talk to. About the only guy who speaks his mind truthfully about anything and everything.Midstate01;1086145 wrote:Dakich has to be one of the worst commentators I've ever heard!!
Bob Knight on the other hand........ -

Yeah I like him. Tells it how it is. -
Laley23
Its very refreshing. He can analyze a play/game better than any other color man out there, imo. Jay Bilas would be close, but Bilas sometimes gets an ego on air. Though I do love him as well.wildcats20;1086151 wrote:Yeah I like him. Tells it how it is.
I also like that Dakich will talk about the immediate play and not go off on too many tangents. Sticks to the game, with a few relevant stories mixed in.
Helps he knows the Big Ten better than about anyone, and is an AAU coach, so he knows most of the players playing in the Big Ten VERY well. -
LJRavenel really cannot be that much better than Amir Williams or JD Weatherspoon. I just don't believe it
-
Midstate01Well you'd like him because he's an IU homer. I don't like him because he's annoying. Talks way too much. I just can't stand hearing him.
-
wildcats20Wow Eddie got one right for a change.
-
Midstate01Did that kid from Texas Christian just sat the f word??? Ahhhhhhh I'm telling!!!
-
SportsAndLadyDakich has grown on me.
He said some RIDICULOUS things and at first I was like WTF, but then when I realized that's his style, I liked it lol -

That was terrible. Why in the hell did that dude try and pass? Be the hero!!!!!!!! -

No offense, but he is not an IU homer. Some claimed him to be one, cause he picked IU to beat UK and OSU at home and said IU would win 23+ wins after he saw there practice. Maybe it was a homer call, but since he was right, its tough to call him on it. He is objective. It might sound like he is a homer calling there games, but thats cause he knows the players more.Midstate01;1086157 wrote:Well you'd like him because he's an IU homer. I have no reason to like him cause he played/coached at IU. It wouldnt affect my thoughts at all.
I hate Bob Knight as a commentator, as well as Reggie Miller who is my favorite player. -

Maybe someone showed Matta this post and he thought "you know what, LJ is right"LJ;1086155 wrote:Ravenel really cannot be that much better than Amir Williams or JD Weatherspoon. I just don't believe it -
chicago51018-0 run for OSU. Williams gives them a shotblocker/stud rebounder guy they don't have. Totally agree with LJ

What I mean is he's from iu. So of course you like him. -

He does talk a lot but he analyzes the game. Better than "oooh ooh are you serious baby what a shot".Midstate01;1086157 wrote:Well you'd like him because he's an IU homer. I don't like him because he's annoying. Talks way too much. I just can't stand hearing him. -
