Purdue at Ohio State, 2/7...Thoughts?

MulvaPerimeter defense is optional.
-
Tiger2003Byrd 6-6 from 3's. Another player has a career high vs the Bucks.
-
Tiger2003This is pathetic.
-
AutomatikFucking hell. Do we get smoked from beyond the arc more than normal or is it just me?
-
Midstate01Fucking terrible!! Our defense is just terrible tonight. No energy on that side of the floor at all. Nobody wants to take over and make a play.

stroupsByrds dad looks creepy as hell

I don't think Elton Brand is a horrible comparison. Maybe a Zach Randolph (without the headcase factor) or Kevin Love, but not quite as dominant on the glass.Automatik;1079120 wrote:Maybe an Elton Brand? I always hear he has a decent mid range jumper. Who knows...its tough to gauge how he'll translate.
Now Davis, he's gonna be a beast. Reminds me a lot of Dwight Howard at that age. Is he a lock for the #1 pick?
As for Davis, he isn't anywhere near the physical force Howard is. He's a great defender already, but he's long and lanky. He isn't a manchild out there. He's got a long way to go on offense. Reminds me of a more athletic Marcus Camby. -

Other than the Illinois dude, who else has had career/crazy games against OSU?Tiger2003;1079135 wrote:Im not sure but I do know we love giving up career games to opposing team players. -
Azubuike24Davis has offensive skills that no big man at 18-years old has ever had, at least that I've seen. He's a better offensive player NOW than Camby was in his prime of the NBA.
He just hasn't had to show it at UK.
Honestly, on a bad team, or even an average team, Davis would be handling the ball and shooting jump shots. He would be playing more like a 3 than a 5. -
Tiger2003Bucks are about to go on a run and put this in the books.

Come on..so in their loss this year, Calipari was just like, "No Davis...don't showcase it, we don't need it."
You're the biggest UK homer I've ever seen, and that's saying something -

AutomatikAnthony Davis can play the 3? lol
I've only seen him play in a UK uniform and haven't seen much to warrant that claim, but he is damn good. -
Tiger2003Get Scott out.

LJOSU is just sloppy

It's sticks out because they result in Ls, we haven't had many in that span. And going for 30+ isn't that common.SportsAndLady;1079150 wrote:So 3 people in 2 years? lol -
