Obviously I don't know if it happened, it's just the discussion that was going on. I'll see if I can find it. It may have been on the Rivals main board.ccrunner609;1039192 wrote:I call BS................a white guy from OSU isnt going to drop the N word on the field where he is playing alongside blacks on his team. Not gonna happen. -

First and foremost, let me say that Moeller sounds like a whiner here. However, in the bolded part of your statement I believe that the only reason the N-word is such a big deal is because they make it a big deal. If they didn't let it bother them like white people being called cracker doesn't bother us (for the most part, can't speak for every single white person) then it wouldn't mean shit. Also, they call each other the N-word more often nowadays, so they need to STFU along with Moeller.enigmaax;1039093 wrote:I agree to an extent. But, there just isn't a single word a black dude can call a white dude that is going to reach the magnitude of that one particular word we've got in our pocket. Whining about being called a "cracker"? Just makes him seem like a sore loser. -

STFU Cracker

WebFireThe origin of cracker isn't much of a bash against white people anyway.
-
SpeedofsandEvery time a black guy ever called me cracker I called him a graham cracker right back. 99% of them were stumped.

Agree to an extent. Regardless of if it did or didn't happen (or to what actual extent) there's nothing to be gained from saying it. God knows the fanbases aren't going to think any different of their team or the other team after reading it (especially these two fanbases), and really fans of other schools aren't going to have any change of opinion either. It's going to look like sour grapes no matter what.Fab1b;1039099 wrote:I was more thinking he should have not come out with this, with the loss it does make it look like whining. -

All I could find was a follow up thread to the original. No one mentioned it in that one. So I assume at this point it was just someone's false info.Midstate01;1039437 wrote:Link? -

I agree for the most part. But however we feel about it, there's is still a very strong sentiment about use of the word that isn't going away. The history means too much. There just isn't anything comparable for blacks to say to whites that is going to get the same reaction from a white guy or from the public, hence (to the post that I originally responded) no great news coverage about racism. Racism goes both ways and is sometimes overplayed; this is just one case where you aren't going to get much traction playing that card because white people don't even pretend to care about the word "cracker" unless they just got housed by a bunch of *******.dwccrew;1039288 wrote:First and foremost, let me say that Moeller sounds like a whiner here. bases_loadedGive me a Fucking break.
Not one person alive today ever owned any slaves. As terrible as it was, those here because their great grand pappy was a slave should be thanking every crackers great grandfather for bringing them here. Without that happening they are still out running lions in loin clothes instead of linebackers in $2, 000 worth of free equipment while getting a free college education.
The only racism that exists anymore is "reverse" which is what whites have to use because the blacks own the word racism like they own ****** -
vball10setBlacks can call whites crackers because their is no fear of reprocussion. Blacks can call blacks whatever the hell they want, but it's 'not the same' when a white man calls a black the same. Poilitical correctness has saturated our society, and we have adopted a 'walking on eggshells' mentality when it comes to crossing racial lines. Unfortunately, it appears to be one-sided as to who's doing the 'walking'.

bases_loadedI could care less, but we were taught sticks and stones in elementary school... Except ******

GlassyI am not racist, but I cant stand black people who think they are owed something. Makes me sick.
NAACP and other black organizations have littered their minds with horsesh!t making them feel as if we owe them something because they are black. I didnt own any slaves, so therefore I owe them sh!t.
On the other hand, I have several friends that are black and they are great people. They are the same if they are the only black guy around or if there are 5-6 other black guys around.
Its the ones that think they are owed something that kiss a white person's rear end when they are alone, but start to act like thugs when their other black people show up. -
bases_loadedYou don't need that first part.
You don't have to justify your opinions -
rmolin73First off I highly doubt any black guy is going to use the word "cracker", that is so freaking lame of a word to call someone. They would probably get clowned by everyone else for saying it this isn't 1975. But that still doesn't give the black players from Florida an ok to use any racial epithets in regards to the Ohio States white players that's classless to say the least.
Glassy I agree 100% I hate black people that try and act like thugs when they are around other blacks and kiss white peoples behinds when they are around them. The few guys that won't hang with my group of friends anymore because they pretty much got tired of me telling them that their punk asses wouldn't last a second around a real thug lol. Everyone should be well aware how I feel about the NAACP it should have closed up shop a long time ago. They're nothing but race baiters. -
