Who has a better source at Ohio State?

  My source verified, guaranteed, signed, sealed, and delivered Urban Meyer being accepted as the coach last week.
  
  LJ's source still says its not a done deal and that we should wait for an official announcement.

  It's just good natured ribbing LJ. If you don't like it, you have two options. Number 1 is to laugh at yourself for making a claim that turned out to be false and accept that you are going to be called out for it. Number 2 is cry to C4F and he will move the thread and send some infractions my way because he has no life.

  What claim did I make that was false? That as of last wed a deal had not been signed? Or that state law is that the job has to be posted for 9 days before an official contract can be signed?

  I have a friend who's a VP for Arbys, an OSU grand and a BIG booster. We hadn't seen each other for a couple of years. Our paths crossed again the 1st week in October. We usually don't talk OSU football, we have other common interests. It's the 1st of October and the first thing out of his mouth was. "I guarantee Urban Meyer will be the next coach at Ohio State." I asked who his source was. He said he couldn't tell me, he wasn't supposed to know anything about it. I asked how sure he was, he said 99%. We now know Les Wexner was the driving force behind the Ohio State side of negotiations...... VP for a National Chain, OSU grad, Big OSU Booster....Les Wexner. The next time I see my friend you know what I'm going to ask him. AGAIN, this was the first week in October, TWO MONTHS ago, when I was guaranteed Urban Meyer. I now know for sure I have a source at the top of the food chain.
