http://www.nesn.com/2011/11/jerry-sandusky-rumored-to-have-been-pimping-out-young-boys-to-rich-donors-says-mark-madden.html"I can give you a rumor and I can give you something I think might happen," Madden told John Dennis and Gerry Callahan. "I hear there's a rumor that there will be a more shocking development from the Second Mile Foundation -- and hold on to your stomachs, boys, this is gross, I will use the only language I can -- that Jerry Sandusky and Second Mile were pimping out young boys to rich donors. That was being investigated by two prominent columnists even as I speak."
If it's true ... Fucking. Sick. Nuke that program. -
dwccrewKill. Them. All.

Pick6Sick.

dwccrewIf this is found out to be true, there is an almost absolute certainty that this program is in shatters. This is all worse than anything the NCAA could do to a program.
1) Legendary coach fired in disgrace
2) Huge sex scandal with juvenile boys that is growing daily
3) The depth of how deep this cover up may have gone
PSU football may never recover -

Fixed it for you. The football program obviously has a huge (something bigger than a black eye because the Tat-5 is a black eye this is like a black hole). Since this obviously made it's way up the the president and IMO the BoT, what as far as donations, endowment.... will be at stake?dwccrew;966322 wrote:If this is found out to be true, there is an almost absolute certainty that this program is in shatters. OneBuckeyeAnyone also read about the mysterious death of the prosecuter that was investigating Sandusky in 2005? He was found in river and his laptop was found without a hard drive... NYT has the article if interested.
-
TiernanThe NY Times article on the mysterious disapearance of the DA who was prosecuting Sandusky back in '98 is mind boggling if this rich old boy connection is found to be true. I can see JoePa telling someone who is looking for a contract killer..."Yah, I know some guys who know some guys back in my old Brooklyn hood.."

You are correct.Gricar went missing in April 2005. The murky circumstances surrounding his disappearance — an abandoned car, a laptop recovered months later in a river without a hard drive, his body was never found -
dwccrewThis runs real deep. I have a feeling we only know about 10% of what is involved with this situation.

All the more reason PSU needed to cut ties ASAP. If they held out and some of these dots got connected and proved. They would be in even deeper.dwccrew;966389 wrote:This runs real deep. I have a feeling we only know about 10% of what is involved with this situation. -
IliketurtlesThis whole thing is just sick. Simply terrible.

They will be even deeper. The entire Second Mile program, which is state wide with all of its contributors, the administration of the university, possibly the entire football/athletic program....OneBuckeye;966400 wrote:All the more reason PSU needed to cut ties ASAP. Yet there was no rush to judgement here was there?dwccrew;966389 wrote:This runs real deep. I have a feeling we only know about 10% of what is involved with this situation. -

I don't think there was. The judgement that has been rendered was not a judgement of legal nature but rather a judgement of an individual's character and fortitude.Skyhook79;966424 wrote:Yet there was no rush to judgement here was there? -

He still thinks Paterno can somehow explain all this away, and that those of us condemning him based on HIS OWN SWORN TESTIMONY BEFORE A GRAND JURY are wrong.dwccrew;966432 wrote:Your point?
In other words: he hasn't accepted reality yet. Paterno was morally responsible for aiding and abetting the rape of children in his football facilities and elsewhere.
