Tobias FünkeIt's not nearly as awesome as Irishenvy.com's. I'll say that much.

karen lotzCave will have surgery to repair a ligament in his foot within the next few days. Golic starts, Andrew Nuss will get work backing Golic up. Te'o, Lynch, Ethan Johnson will all play.
Theo Riddick won't play this week because of hamstring injury and Robby Toma will start in his place. Toma makes plays whenever he is in the game, excited to see what he can do. -

My favorite comment from this article:martyirish;963839 wrote:http://notredame.247sports.com/Article/Notre-Dame-to-wear-green-jerseys-this-weekend-47643The 2 most important traditions for Notre Dame football are winning football games and graduating football players. The first one is really lacking right now, but I believe Brian Kelly is the man to reestablish that one. The second is going strong.
Changing jerseys, the walk to the stadium, jumbotron, etc. are simply things that must be fluid with the times. I personally have enjoyed the uniform "enhancements", walk to the stadium (was awesome with the bag pippers for USC), and would absolutely love to see a jumbotron so I can see replays. A+ for the shamrock helmet! Go Irish!
Amen to that! -
DeyDurkie5brian kelly is definitely not the dude to do that. sucks balls at coaching and handling players.

Brian Kelly's coaching record is 185–65–2, winning 74% of his games.DeyDurkie5;963850 wrote:brian kelly is definitely not the dude to do that. sucks balls at coaching and handling players.
Jim Tressel's coaching record is 229-79-2, winning 74.1% of his games.
Yeah, he sucks at coaching... -

so comparing him to tressel makes your argument valid? That is the dumbest thing in the world. I don't care waht he did at UC, Central Michigan, or Grand Valley State, it's what he does at ND. He is 12-8 as their coach in the first two seasons, alienated players that weren't recruited by him, killed a student, and looks like a nut job on the sideline. Until he wins something besides the sun bowl, get back at us!Tobias Fünke;963864 wrote:Brian Kelly's coaching record is 185–65–2, winning 74% of his games.

bradmaynardAt this point in his second year Jim Tressel was 16-5. Kelly isn't too far off of that record considering the national title talent of the Buckeyes in 2002 really shouldn't be compared to ND's talent right now as they aren't even close.

12-8 isn't his record. Troll on though. -
karen lotzAnd why do you care what he does at Notre Dame exactly?

could I not say the same with you on OSU threads? Let me post, quit bitching.karen lotz;963921 wrote:And why do you care what he does at Notre Dame exactly? -

Please find where I went around claiming that I don't care what coaches at other schools do but I do care what they do at Ohio State. Thanks in advance.
"Let me post" = QQ = bitching. -

Not exactly, but it specifically makes your argument invalid.DeyDurkie5;963870 wrote:so comparing him to tressel makes your argument valid?
I'm fairly certain his record at Notre Dame is 14-8 right now actually.
I also don't see any signs that he alienated any players, they seem to love him. When you play your best game after that "alienation," it becomes motivation and not whatever narrative you and the haters like to conjure up.
I also don't see any evidence that he killed anyone. I think the State of Indiana agrees with me and said so in the final report.
And i don't think he looks like a nut job at all. He hasn't punched anyone, he's yelled. Did you play football? Afraid of yelling? Quit being a pussy.
So your 0-2 on facts and have one bad opinion. Nice work. -
carmenIm taking Mland in an upset.
-
Tobias FünkeThat's probably not a bad pick. I don't think they'll cover the spread.

I wonder if Notre Dame can run for 350 on them. I would love for Gray to get 200 yards.Miami (FL): 172
West Virginia: 92
Temple: 285
Towson: 161
Georgia Tech: 272
Clemson: 306
Florida State: 218
Boston College: 372 (without Montel Harris)
Virginia: 220
One would think that if their rush defense is so bad, the Hendrix Package will be used. -

karen lotzGunner Kiel will be at the game this weekend. Kelly is recruiting him personally.
-
Tobias FünkeI wouldn't be surprised to see him commit shortly afterward.
In fact I would be surprised if he wasn't Irish, and at that point I wonder if that tips Payton and Agholor in Notre Dame's direction. -
karen lotzStill has his official visit left too. Maybe he will take it mid January and then just stay for the start of the semester.
