Iowa def. #13 Michigan, 24-16
-
mervMichigan heads to Kinnick Stadium to face Iowa. Game starts at noon on ESPN. Michigan is coming off a 36-14 home win against Purdue. Iowa lost to Minnesota, 22-21 last week. Who wins?
Michigan - 24
Iowa - 20
Go Blue!!!! -
sleeperThis is a game I could see Michigan dropping.
-
dwccrewI picked Iowa. Yesterday's loss to Minnesota was a fluke. I think Iowa bounces back and beats UM at home. I just think UM is poised to lose at least 2-3 more games.
Iowa 27-21 -
davepoised to lose, lmao
Anyone watch the Iowa/Minnesota game? I saw them play PSU and Louisiana Monroe and they looked pretty bad in both games.
Hopefully Kovacs is back to help stop Coker. -
Hb31187lol I know most on here hate Michigan, but losing to Iowa? common now

You can lyao all you want, Michigan has proven nothing at this point. They haven't beaten a ranked team yet. Hell, the only ranked team they have faced beat them up physically. With @Iowa, @ Illinois and two home games with Nebraska and Ohio State, that is a tough 4 game stretch.dave;950811 wrote:poised to lose, lmao

Don't get cocky just yet, beat a notable team. -

I wouldn't be surprised if Michigan wins, I just have a feeling that this is one they drop. Is it the unbelievable that Iowa could beat Michigan? It's not like either one of them are lighting the world on fire, I'd say they are close to the same level with UM having a slight advantage in talent (but it's young talent).Hb31187;950814 wrote:lol I know most on here hate Michigan, but losing to Iowa? common now -
Hb31187You're completely serious right now? I just ask that because it almost has to be a joke that you think the 2 teams are close in talent level and how theyre performing this year. They just lost to Minnesota, the Gophers are HORRIBLE. Michigan isnt like a top 10 powerhouse team, but theyre playing very well this season, easily playing better than Iowa

mervMichigan lost to Michigan State on the road.
Wisconsin lost to Michigan State and Ohio State on the road.
Michigan State lost to Nebraska and Notre Dame on the road. Beat Ohio State on the road.
Nebraska lost to Wisconsin on the road.
Illinois lost to Purdue and Penn State on the road.
Ohio State lost to Miami and Nebraska on the road. Beat Illinois on the road.
Iowa lost to Penn State and Minnestoa on the road.
Just looking at the top teams, who have played each other, in the B1G this year, the road team is 2-12. Michigan @ Iowa should be a close game. Wouldn't shock me at all if Iowa wins. -

I never said they proved anything, just laughing that you say they are poised to lose. How exactly are they doing that?dwccrew;950820 wrote:You can lyao all you want, Michigan has proven nothing at this point. They haven't beaten a ranked team yet. Easily? LOL, ok. Iowa losing to Minnesota is a fluke. I'm not guaranteeing Michigan loses, I'm just saying I think that Iowa can play them as tough as anyone has this season.Hb31187;950827 wrote:You're completely serious right now? When Ohio State lost to Purdue back in 2009, I would say that is comparitive to Iowa losing to Minnesota this year. Purdue has 2-3 wins that season and OSU was Rose Bowl champs. Bad teams can upset better teams on any given day. The Rams beat the Saints today in the NFL.
Just sayin', don't put much stock in to Minnesota beating Iowa. I hope the UM players don't take Iowa as lightly as you apparently are. -
Hb31187I said theyre easily playing better, not easily gonna beat Iowa or stomp them out. Is whos playing better really up for debate?

Where's my ipad2? -
Tobias FünkeI think Michigan destroys them, but I'll be rooting for the Hawkeyes of course.

Not at all. I agree with you that Michigan is currently playing better, I just think it is going to be an Iowa upset.Hb31187;951474 wrote:I said theyre easily playing better, not easily gonna beat Iowa or stomp them out. Is whos playing better really up for debate? -

WebFireI don't know. Any team that loses to Minnesota this year has issues.
Michigan 31
Iowa 14 -
TiernanscUM squeaks by this one but loses next three in a row. Bank on it.
-
OneBuckeyeSomehow Kirk Ferentz will still win BIG 10 coach of the year. UM wins.

From all the media love and the coaching awards the guy gets one would think he's fielding a team full of amputees. -
0311sdpIf Michigan can contol Coker, they should win this game. If Coker runs effectively and Michigan has to commit their safeties to stop the run, then it could get interesting. I think Michigan wins (too much speed for the hawkeyes) 35-24.

JU-ICETO will be the key, if UM can take care of the ball they will generate enough offense to get the win. While the defense is improved, when watching them I always have the feeling that they are just hanging on, Iowa is always a tough place to play, but I think they do just enough to get the win.

Yeah, the Michigan defense should have a tough time against a team that lost to Minnesota.JU-ICE;953436 wrote:TO will be the key, if UM can take care of the ball they will generate enough offense to get the win.
