Iowa def. #13 Michigan, 24-16

charliehustle14I think the casual onlooker would say UM by 2 TD's or more, but I really see this one being a nail biter. I take Michigan in a thriller that could go either way. I look for Coker to have another fine game for the Hawkeyes, though.

karen lotzIf Michigan plays Michigan ball, I see them winning by 14+. If Iowa plays Iowa ball, I see them winning by 13+.
-
Trueblue23Michigan gets the run game going, d-line plays well, we win.
I'll take Michigan 38-24. -
Trueblue23Not sure if it has been posted or not..
but S Carvin Johnson has left the team. Not really surprising, especially after Woolfolk started over him at safety last week. -

I don't understand why a player would leave mid-season though.Trueblue23;954099 wrote:Not sure if it has been posted or not..

From what I've heard this has been boiling over from the fall camp. Carvin looked good in spring, awful in the fall.. he was pissed he wasn't starting.WebFire;954134 wrote:I don't understand why a player would leave mid-season though. -

Yeah, but he gains nothing by quitting now. You'd think he'd try to stick it out.Trueblue23;954276 wrote:From what I've heard this has been boiling over from the fall camp. Carvin looked good in spring, awful in the fall.. he was pissed he wasn't starting. -

No kidding. Might as well stick it out and support your teammates, no matter how much you disagree with the coaches. If nothing else you still get practice and weight room time to continue to improve so you can help out whatever team you transfer to. Not to mention you stick it out and get to take a trip to a bowl game and get the perks that come with that.WebFire;954317 wrote:Yeah, but he gains nothing by quitting now. Swamp FoxThis is definitely a game that Michigan should win, given what's happened in the Big 10 so far this season. I think it will really test whether Michigan is a contender or a pretender. A loss at Kinnick this weekend will leave the Wolverines with three very difficult games to finish their regular season. Let's see who shows up.

Hb31187Fucking Devin Gardner, just leave Denard in the game.
-
WebFireWhat?
-
Trueblue23Good stand by the defense.
I like that our D usually seems to improve as the game goes on. -
dwccrewGood news for Michigan is that MSU is currently (it's very early) losing to Minnesota 14-7.
-
Trueblue23Starting to become less and less of a fan of the 2 QB package..
-
WebFireYeah I don't think that will last.
-
WebFireI wish they would give him more than 1 play at a time. That's the problem with it.
-
WebFireIf Michigan shuts out Iowa the rest of the game, I'll have half my prediction right.
-
Hb31187Michigans coaches are fucking stupid
