Notre Dame beats Pitt 15-12

This is his second year bud. The freshmen class is his only real recruiting effort to fit his scheme so far. Say what you want about Rees and Crist but in my opinion he still hasn't gotten the chance to pick and groom his QB of the future yet, though Rees has the potential to be great under the right coordination. The defense is the best its been since around 2002 with loads of young talent. The secondary is an obvious weakness but has been much improved minus one quarter against Michigan. They've made tons of stupid errors not common with a Kelly coached team thus far and find themselves at .500 with two straight wins. There are so many areas left to improve to limit mistakes but there is more reason to be excited about the direction he is going with this team then there has been at ND in a very long time. ND has a sophomore QB who had just four games under his belt coming in to the season, a sophomore running back, and young wide receivers minus Floyd who has been outstanding as expected. I apologize for the fact that Quinn and Clausen aren't playing at ND anymore so perhaps this offense doesn't look quite as potent as years prior, but I assure you it gets the job done against the majority of the nation if it eliminates turnovers.dlazz;909834 wrote:a poor win. ND should've won by 20 with the way Pitt played.
ND should be 4-0 instead of 2-2.
I wouldn't be shocked to see them lose four or five more games this season.
It's really mind boggling to me why people think BK is a good coach. He's no different than Mike Leach: an offensive mastermind. All Cinci was able to do was outscore their opponents...their defenses were mediocre at best.
Now he doesn't even have a great offense. His scheme is doomed to fail.
Also take note of the fact that Mike Leach was a hell of a coach and I think you watched about as many Texas Tech games in your life as you have ND games, somewhere around three in the past ten years or so. And before you tell me some stupid shit like "Oh that's because there were only three relevant games between those two teams in ten years", understand that you were the one making outrageous observations based on a clear lack of knowledge.
Mike Leach will always be a hero at Texas Tech and made that program relevant. -

Because everyone in this thread is speaking so highly of our favorite team at 2-2. GTFOdlazz;910686 wrote:You ND fans are worse than OSU fans when it comes to discussing realistic goals. -

Three. NBC loves to show them even though there are better games on -

NBC is too stupid to sign any other contracts, so they are stuck with ND home games as the only thing they are allowed to carry. -

They have played 2 home games. Do you not get stations other than NBC? -

Yes, they are clearly struggling with ND. Seems like there are just as many people tuning in to watch ND lose than there are ND fans wanting them to win. -

dlazz admitted to watching three ND games...despite the fact that he clearly isn't an Irish fan. Pretty smart on NBC's part. -
Tobias FünkeNotre Dame's front seven hasn't allowed a running back to reach over 100 yards rushing since the Stanford game in week four last year. Just saying.
