  His number scenario was actually pretty accurate. Like I said, I went to BGSU but really don't care about their athletics. I'll see if they won in football, hockey, or WBB, but care if my favorite team (Michigan) wins or not.

  It is an issue because a lot of OSU fans bring up asking Rutgers to join in expansion as it will bring in the [non-existent] NYC market. Do you think all of the Dominicans and Puerto Ricans and other immigrants living in the Bronx or Brooklyn care at all about football? The Big 10 might as well invite the University of Shanghai to tap the Chinese market.

  Luke Fickell has got to have the hottest seat. Anything but undefeated and I think he may be gone. Watched an interview with him and the new IU coach on B10 network and he talked about trusting Bollman with the offense. If I was Fickell I wouldn't be so trusting. If OSU looks like a joke on offense people will be clamoring for a new HC if we don't go undefeated.

  What numbers did I make up? I used actual population numbers then some reasonable assumptions, favoring Rutger's side to show that having them really doesn't get anyone the NY market. Also, I'd like you to quote where I said immigrants don't like college football (nice try at making up stuff. How does him selling tickets for Rutgers prove anything about his knowledge of NY'ers being huge supporters of Rutgers... Cincinnati sells tickets, does that mean that the Big East gets the Ohio TV market because Cinci is in their league? Nope.

  Oh and STOP SAYING NYers BEING HUGE SUPPORTERS OF RUTGERS. How many times do I have to tell you that I have never once said that, and that I realize that there isn't a huge following in NY. But that doesn't mean NO ONE cares in NY about Rutgers, nor does it mean the NY market doesn't benefit Rutgers.
