That's not what you said...you said osu doesn't have a season to remember....idk about you guys but I remember an osu season

Doesn't mean anything, LSU is clean - just ask CGW.

Nothing says clean like Willie lyles lmao

I don't know, the 12 teams that lost to OSU in 2010 seem to remember, they still have those losses counted.

No, I try to forget all the losses on purpose, vacated or not. ;)

Who cares? LSU getting punishments does not affect my team.

    To think otherwise is moronic.
Right now, Florida has 71 players on scholarship. That's 14 under the limit.

For an Ohio board, I see a lot of SEC threads. Its obvious some here are still jealous of tOSU getting spanked by Florida and LSU. Trying to compare LSU's "major violations" to being as dirty as tOSU. Again, the player sat the bench all season and was let go as well as the coach, AND the school self reported it. To me that is not anywhere near as dirty as Tressel & several players at tOSU.

FWIW I am perfectly fine with that response. I think other posters are too, they just like to jump on CGW because he was being such a douche.

When OSU found out about Tressel they did self report. I'll admit they hemmed and hawed before they let him go, but they did eventually take care of it. (I still would like to know if he did anything internally with this information to make it stop or did he just let it go. As far as I know they only did this their freshman year, but I wouldn't be shocked to find they did it their entire careers at OSU.)

No, no, no mr. spin doctor. There was no comparison being made, just LSU being called dirty, to which you said there was nothing dirty about it. Yeah, uhm, except the original violations. Man up and admit you're an idiot.

Once again with the name calling people. If every OSU/SEC team thread is going to come to this its going to be a long season (and mostly in the basement)

Bravo for Florida. How about Alabama, LSU and Auburn? Want to bet they are looking to make space?

And I'm not defending what OSU did, but LSU CHEATED. It was found out early and dealt with. Good for them. You can try and color it any way you want, but cheating is cheating where the NCAA is concerned. Ohio State's probation won't be any different than LSU's in their eyes and those of anyone with a brain.

Bingo. Everybody is saying "this is okay, because LSU self reported, blah blah blah." Well guess what, OSU self reported once they found out about it. Yes, at first they were hesitant to let Tressel go, but ultimately ended up doing so.

Big difference when LSU gets rid of the problem instantly and the "one" player never played. At OSU, the coach got away with garbage for years involving "alot" of players who actually played. OSU was a lonnnnnnng problem while LSU's mistake didnt take place on the field. Big difference.
  • lhslep134
There's really no comparison between the LSU and OSU situations and it should be left at that.

Prove it. Bet you can't. And FYI - Troy Smith and Maurice Clarett don't classify as "a lot".

NOW who is the spin dr? Things don't go your way so you accuse Bammer and Awburn and lump the SEC as cheaters. ...cheating is cheating ??
I steal a can of beer; you rob a bank with a gun. Crime is Crime !

Look all I know is other schools are going down, and yes some are SEC (LSU and we know Auburn is coming) so whether big or small it is cheating and their is punishment! Take your medicine like us buckeye fans are, except you aren't getting it from the media like we are!
