Which of these teams will have the most wins next year?

ND fans are over sensitive for no reason. They haven't won a relevant game in 20 years and their best win is a loss to USC. I mean when you give a terrible coach a 10 year extension for a close loss, you know you're program is a piece of shit.

Which bowl game did they play Missouri?

I'm over sensitive? Please, my team is probably the best team in college football history, I don't care what the haters say.

You do care what they say and your posts show it.

The truly greats don't have to tell people. The people know.

Ran out of posts on the Navy thread that no one cares about?

Not yet. There's no end to that. Why do you ask?

You want to talk about bowl games? Hahahaha I generally get along with the ND fans around here but you sir are a turd.

P.S. what happened the year after those dreaded losses to south carolina?

Then again, after watchinig Jefferson the past couple years you might not be that far off.

I have to find the clip of him on ESPN a few weeks ago.

No but I will say if we are going to incorrectly assume that teams play on a constant level every week, then Ohio State should have beat Illinois badly. The same Illinois that lost to Missouri by ten actually. They went 7-6, and let Michigan score 67 points on them. I would say they would have had a tough game against a pretty talented Tulsa team.

Not forgiving the Tulsa loss, but I wasn't too angry after it. The last play was irrelevant. Notre Dame played with a freshmen quarterback who threw three interceptions. Notre Dame still put up ~460 yards and held Tulsa to without an offensive touchdown in the final three quarters. Hell, Tulsa only scored one offensive touchdown the whole game and that stat alone shows me how bizarre of a game it was. The defense, coming off its Navy sodomization, was starting to play well. But having a true freshmen quarterback being called upon to throw 54 passes in his first considerable action as a collegiate player....bad things can happen. Then throw the bonehead call on at the end, and it was a weekend to forget.

That is the second of two games Dayne Crist lost for the Irish. :( He won't be injury free this season, but Kelly has done a great job (because he is actually a good coach, contrary to some opinions here) of preparing depth at the positions. If they lose to a Tulsa-type team this year, then I'll be livid. I took all of 2010 with a grain of salt.

Missouri lost to Iowa last year in the bowl, not Illinois. Missou actually played the Illini during the regular season and took them to the woodshed.

My bad, mistaked illinois for iowa. Lol. Either way i believe illinois had multiple first round draft picks. No way is tulsa on the same level as them.

What a dumb thing to say... Tulsa finished 24 and Illinois wasn't even in the "Also Receiving Votes" list...

Illinois has more talent top to bottom than Tulsa. Illinois' coach sucks at coaching though. Illinois has put out multiple first 3 round draft picks since Zooker got there.

What does number of draft picks have anything to do with which college team is better? I'm not saying Tulsa is better than Illinois at all, but that literally has nothing to do with the argument.

He countered that Illinois had better talent with Tulsa's ranking. Everyone knows that Zook gets top flight talent but can't beat a 10 year old in Madden.

Well, 128 votes to none say Tulsa had a better season last year than Illinois

Where did he ever say the word "talent"?

Colorado had 2 first round picks this year. They went 3-9 in 2010.

Ok? Doesn't change anything that I said.

ok? Illinois has 5-6 drafted yearly.

No one said anything about Tulsa being more talented. Tulsa won 10 games. Was ranked. Losing to them last year isn't that much worse than losing to Illinois, if at all.

Again, what does number of draft picks matter when comparing two teams?

    Who lost to Illinois?
