Which of these teams will have the most wins next year?

  • sleeper
So really the winner here is Ohio State, because people are only picking LSU because they play a powder puff schedule.
  • stroups
LSU could be a really good team but they still have George Jefferson as their QB and little raplisburger as their possible savior,

    Correct. That is it.

Dont know why people are thinkinmg FSU will be good. People have been wanting Miami to be good for years and it just doesnt happen. I say in 2-3 years FSU will be decent when they get these top recruits going.

Agree generally but would switch the OSU/Nebraska game Nebraska's way, the Michigan St./ND game ND's way, the Michigan-Illinois game to Mich. There's also a good chance Air Force beats ND, or ND beats SC or Stanford. (Outside shot USF upsets us)

notre dame will probably go undefeated, i see tulsa isnt on the schedule to beat them this year
  • athlete37
Tulsa finished ranked with 10 wins and a bowl victory- you definitely could've come up with a better one than that
  • Pick6
no need to come up with anything better. Tulsa is Tulsa, and will always be Tulsa. Nothing more than a decent mid major.

Alabama didn't win a bowl and have a 12-0 regular season following a late November loss to Louisiana-Monroe in 2007... Oh yea and the year after that 12-0 regular season they went 14-0... Sounds awful

God I hope osu never gets to the point where I have to justify losing to Tulsa.

How about back to back bowl losses to a South Carolina team coming off an 0-11 season?

I don't really care that ND lost to Tulsa, but at least S. Carolina is a BCS team out of the SEC.

And Ohio State hasn't had it's close calls against Navy, San Diego St., Marshall and the likes? And Air Force's domination of them in a bowl game in the 90's? I'm just saying, there were much better jokes that could've been made than a 2 pt loss to a 10 win Tulsa team that finished the season ranked. (see loss to three win Syracuse team on Sr. Day, etc). And also, like I said, South Carolina had finished 0-11 the year before and was hardly a super power. SEC wasn't what it is now either.
  • athlete37
By the same count I could post the following-- Notre Dame has played the following SEC schools: Alabama (5-1), Florida (1-0), Georgia (0-1), LSU (5- 5), Mississippi (1-1), South Carolina (3-1), Tennessee (4-4) and Vanderbilt (2-0). Just because Ohio State is 1-9 against similar teams does not mean Notre Dame is better.

Why do people have their panties in a bunch over the Tulsa loss? You lose a starting quarterback and that stuff can happen. It's not like Joe Bauserman was about to beat Illinois this year for the Buckeyes.

I'm not sure if nd fans get all crazy about that loss or not, but pick6 just made a joke, and athlete flipped out. He even acknowledged that it was a joke in his post and still couldn't just let it go. There are just certain people who can't laugh at jokes that perhaps are warranted.

For example, you could joke.about needing a 55 yard field goal to beat Marshall earlier last decade, a close call with my bobcats 3 years ago...the list goes on. Some people just can't joke around I guess.

So are you saying Illinois, who beat Missouri in their bowl game, is on the same level as Tulsa?
  • Pick6
Trying to say losing to a team who went 0-11 the previous year or two years ago is irrelevant. Chances are totally different players are contributing on that team that went win-less for South Carolina.

No need to try to attack OSU. Just admit that it was a bad loss, and one of the worst calls of the year (here comes the Kelly defense).

Flipped out? Seems like a bit of an exaggeration on your part. If athlete's posts are considered "flipping out".....then a helluva lot of people on here (and not all of them ND fans) have and continue to flip out.

    Okay maybe not flipped out.

Though you really shouldn't take everything I say so literally. I exaggerate a lot.

LOL--- "Weezie!" You mean Jordan Jefferson?

Then again, after watchinig Jefferson the past couple years you might not be that far off.
