Terrelle Pryor not returning to OSU

I just hope they don't find proof of drugs during the investigation. This will be the end of OSU football as we have known it and we can all thank Tressel and Pryor.
But today isn't Wednesday. -
passwordLOL, Tomorrow is, at least for this week.

It could be, but only if OSU knew of payments. Which begs the question; how is SBB aware of checks to Pryor's bank account? Is that also something the university would be aware of? -

I think most of the stuff that is going on at OSU, also goes on at most other schools. They just haven't been caught yet. -

Do compliance offices get bank account info from athletes so they can look for irregularities? -

That's my question, too. -
passwordAre they saying that the checks were deposited in Pryor's account or were they deposited in his mom's account?

I was wondering the same thing. That is what seems odd about all this. -
IggyPride00If the USC punishment is any template of the type of punishment we can expect as far as punishments go, it could be lean times ahead for the Buckeyes as the NCAA seems committed to making examples out of its high profile programs of late.
As was mentioned by someone above, clean house of the entire athletic department and go the self imposed bowl ban route this year and hope that it is enough to get the NCAA off your back.
A 2 year bowl ban and major scholarship reductions like the Trojans are dealing with are painful.
Just take the medicine now and hope to get away with a lesser sentence because the pain is coming either way.
The only difference is whether the patient needs a few Ibuprofen or Morphine to satiate the pain. -

Yeah I don't know. It would make sense considering they ask for car registration and loan information and who is making payments. -

Obvious question from NCAA to OSU is "Why did you distance yourself from Talbott in 2010?" -

2 part question.
"and embrace pryor throughout this fiasco?" -

All this thread is, is domer/michigan trolls posting rumors about OSU that are unsubstantiated and then having them pretend that its the coming doom for the football program. It's pathetic, I've already said I hope they take away 85 scholarships, we'd still pound the shit out of both of these schools. -
CCwinCCIve been saying for two years Pryor was being handed money, cars and housing. If you OSU fans think this is over, you're wrong.
Businessmen, dealers, condos, liars, cheaters.....OSU is crashing and burning.
For those of you that want to say Tressel is so great. Just wait until it all comes out. Tressel knew about all of this. He has for many years. if you can't land the top recruits, setup a system to buy them. Tressel will go down as one of the dirtiest coaches to ever coach in NCAA....
Don't just blame the kids....Blame the leader that masterminded the cheating system. TRESSEL !!!
Lets think about something for just a minute....How bad is it when the NCAA casts sanctions down on a school and a player at tiny ol Youngstown State? Easy, Tressel began is player buying back then folks...... -
dat dudeOn a side note, the IRS will come calling soon for Pryor. He may be in a world of hurt.
-
sleeperI'm hearing word that Pryor picked up a quarter on the ground that feel from a boosters pocket. OSU is really going to have to step up enforcement, its not over. This is probably the most corrupt institution on the planet.
Don't ask me how I know these things, I don't have a link, but I did pay an anonymous source who I'll never identify money to get me a story. -

For everybody that claims to be with #buckeyenation bashing @TPeezy2 you wasn't saying that when he was your QB when he won those games. -

He's not wrong. -

Yeah, but nobody knew at the time what he was doing. That's like saying USC fans rooted for a murderer when OJ was playing with the Trojans. -

Agreed. -
thedynasty1998I always bashed Pryor, but was considered a troll.
This is really getting ugly. Now that Pryor is done it's hard to say what will come out now. The NCAA is going to come down hard.
And with that, the chance of a big name coach gets slimmer.
And for those who say compliance couldn't have known, Pryor lived in nice apartments, drove nice cars, was buying expensive jewelry, shoes and Gucci? How in the world is that stuff just ignored? I didn't think this would ever effect Gee and Smith but am now starting to wonder. -
2kool4skoolActually, people did bash Pryor when he was winning games. 30-4 as a starter, two BCS Bowl wins, and a decent percentage of the fan base thought he should be benched/switched to receiver when he'd have a bad game. Other than his weekly trips to gangbangs with sororitutes, the fan base didn't really provide him with much support.
lol, Gee is not going to be touched. Smith, maybe.thedynasty1998;794122 wrote:I didn't think this would ever effect Gee and Smith but am now starting to wonder. -
Tobias Fünke2kool4skool;794124 wrote:Gee is not going to be touched.
Agreed. I don't see very many scenarios in which Ohio State gets rid of Gee.
Gene Smith, however, might be toast whether it's right or wrong. -

Sure buddy. I suppose us "trolls" are responsible for Tressel and TP being gone as well. :rolleyes:sleeper;794057 wrote:LOL

It effected USC even though Reggie Bush was gone. The worst part is I think it will come out that the athletic dept. knew about a lot of this and did nothing. Trouble ahead me sees.
