What will you remember most about Tim Tebow?

  • King Curtis
    What a stupid thread.

It would be pretty good if it had been serious.

All the dumb ass threads started by people who are extremely jealous and don't have anything better to do than make fun of a 21 year old. You people need to get a life.

    LOL

I should change my option from 'all of the above' to 'delusional nut hugging fans'...

Oh wait, never mind that's included!

Go cry to someone who cares

You are bashing a 21 year old for nothing.

    And for what? Stupid ass

Only one Heisman and only led his team to one BCS Title

Archie Griffin has more Heisman Trophies. Craig Krenzel led his team to just as many BCS Titles.

I'm as big of a OSU fan as the next guy, but please don't tell me you are really trying to compare Tebow to Krenzel?

So what you're saying is you'll remember how you had to think of two different people to better Tebow, by himself?
  • Tim Tebow
I will remember him as a great football player. Man was an all around stud, on and off the field.

I will most remember his speech following the loss last year.

And, big deal, the dude cried after one of his last college games of your lives. I'll admit, i let the tears flow after my final high school game.

No, I'll see more college games. That was definately not one of the last of my life. :D

I'll always remember the time he and Nick Mangold double teamed Adam Dunn's girl.

Are any of the poll options false? I'm simply asking people what they will remember most about this one college football player. If you don't like it, go pollute another thread with your moralistic high horse(read: moronic) Tebow thumpin'.

    On national television?

The guy is a cry baby and a media attention whore.

I'll remember that he will go down in college football history as the greatest 3 - yard TD runner of all time...and oh yeah that picture with the huge melons too.

For the media to call this guy the greatest college player ever was the biggest joke I've heard for a long time. What did he ever do? He was a servicable QB on the most talented team in the country. He is like Ben Rothlisberger, his team wins despite him not because of him, Saturday when his team needed him to step up and be the player the media has said he was for 4 years, he could not deliver. That is my lasting impression of Tim Tebow.

Sorry, but this. ^^^^ I understand being upset and therefore emotional after such a big letdown, but I truly don't think I've ever seen a grown man SOB at the end of a game of any kind. I give him credit for always giving 100% and for being an outstanding leader for his team, but I must confess it's a great relief to know that the Tebow worshipping is nearly over.

Do you remember Dorsey crying with a towel on his head after the Fiesta bowl? lol!

I've always been upset about how Troy Smith's legacy has been smudged by a poor last performance..and a lot of Florida fans enjoyed doing victory dances on that legacy, further bringing it down. I am taking a lot of pleasure in their demise now...they were so cocky with no awareness that the party would come to an end eventually.

Demise? I wouldn't go that far.

There are several differences between these two losses:

Tebow still has a chance to go out a winner. Smith didn't.
Tebow still won a national championship as the leader. Smith didn't.
Tebow's team came up a little short of being mentioned with the all time greats nationally over a career. Smith's team came up short of even being the best in a single year, let alone ever. Not to mention the downward spiral Ohio State's national presence has taken as a result of his play.

Yeah, the party is pretty much over now. But it is like Tebow had a pool party with a high dive and slides and fun stuff you'll always remember. Troy Smith kind of took you to a petting zoo where all you really ended up doing was sneezing and cleaning shit off your shoes.

This! Most annoying thing ever. I'm all about religion and spreading the good word, but damnit... it reaches a point where you don't need to end ever friggin conversation God Bless [especially in his cheesy voice]

I dislike florida as much as most, but Tebow is a very good leader and a good college player. Is he annoying YES, but most of that also has to do with the media being all over him.

You won't have to hear about him in the NFL.
  • Cmhs74
I'll remember him most for being the poster child for ESPN

I probably won't remember his Campbell Award as the nation's top scholar-athlete (according to the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame) as much as some other things because it just kind of gets lost with his at least 20 other major awards and accomplishments. But since everyone loves to hear kind words about Tim Tebow, here's a quote from the banquet:

"Tim Tebow is a once in a lifetime student-athlete," said NFF President & CEO Steven J. Hatchell. "Tim's unparalleled accomplishments and charisma have transcended the playing field, capturing the imagination of both young and old. We could not be prouder to have Tim as an ambassador of this award and our sport."

Is he a two-time Campbell Award winner? No? Couldn't close that deal either huh?

I know, man. It is a shame that he didn't accomplish everything that no one else in the world has. What a loser.
