What will you remember most about Tim Tebow?
-
OldDanTuckereasy to have the td's record when all you have to do is go 1 yard to score
-
OldDanTuckerbut losing to UM is my favorite crying after the bama game is a close second
-
enigmaaxI'll also remember how, as a freshman, he played a bigger role in the title game than the then-reigning Heisman winner by outgaining and outscoring him despite only playing a handful of plays.

Yeah, it's easy, that's why so many other great players (mostly running backs) who got their share of carries in the redzone don't have the record.OldDanTucker wrote: easy to have the td's record when all you have to do is go 1 yard to score -

Because those RB's don't play in the 4th quarter in a blow out to pad their stats against sub par competition.enigmaax wrote:

I'm pretty sure ND gets their butts kicked by actual BAD teams, so I'd hope they learn their lesson from those multiple experiences.vball10set wrote: I'll have to say the pic of him actually crying at the end of yesterday's game will be etched in my memory for a long time...but, my real wish is that Florida got to play Notre Dame,so that the Crying Irish Fans would know what it's like to get their butts kicked by an actual GOOD football team(yes, just like the Buckeyes did) -
slingshot4everTo see him cry again when Florida loses the Sugar Bowl to Cincy.
-
Benny The JetWow, what a bunch of haters...the guy had an amazing career. He was shoved by down our throats, yes, but like someone earlier said, I'd be proud to have a son like him, seems like a great person.

Riiiight. Guess those running backs should have taken advantage of their 200-300 more carries in the first three quarters then.sleeper wrote:

Cleveland BuckI will remember Tebow leading his team to drives and willing them to scores when he needed them most last year. I will remember him running like a fullback and throwing like a fullback. I will remember him getting manhandled by the Weasels a couple years ago. I will remember that he was a great kid and fine young man in his 4 years at a place where it is easy to be a thug.

The funny thing is that my team faced him four times; the most any Big Ten team saw of him was once. And in the case of Ohio State, they saw him for about a quarter of one game.Speedofsand wrote: I'll remember that the Bama fans have a lot more class than most people on freehuddle ever thought of having.
And considering that Bammers are about the most obnoxious bastards on the planet, I'll think of this thread next time that I put them behind OSU-loving dimwits. -
allstarI'll remember him as one of the greatest college football players ever, and the best I've ever seen personally.

pmoney25UWow. Can't believe some of the comments on here. He played with a ton of passion and heart. He seemed like a great kid off the field. Helped those less fortunate than him.
The media may have over hyped him. But I would have loved to have him at Ohio state. -
Lovejoy1984I would've loved to have had him at Ohio State. But the media coverage he got(A lot of which he brought on himself) soured many people from around the country on Tebow, similar to how a lot of people were sour on Hansborough from UNC.
Tebow is a great player, and a hell of a man, but with him being constantly shoved down america's throat people were bound to turn on him eventually. -
darbypitcher22probably him crying like a bitch and banging Vern Lundquist and Gary Danielson up the ass every week

This is what I will remember him for too. Otherwise, I couldn't care less about TT. Why would I remember him? I'm not a fan of his or of Florida's.2quik4u wrote: the picture he was in with that chick who had some big ol titties
I don't think he can really be exposed in the NFL, I am not sure many people are claiming him to be that great in the pros.LTrain23 wrote: The way he was exposed, just as he will be in the NFL.
TT generally plows over bad defenses. And Cincy is one of the best of being the worst defense.slingshot4ever wrote: To see him cry again when Florida loses the Sugar Bowl to Cincy.
One of the best college football players, but he was not close to be a great college QB.Huskers wrote: As one of the best college QB's to ever play that position
His throwing mechanics aren't that good. He has a slow release and delivery, not too mention how he holds the ball when standing in the pocket (exampple yesterday when he nearly fumbled but it was a forward pass ruled incomplete). Tebow could be a good fullback or Tight End in the pros, he's an average college QB, but a GREAT college player. -
Trueblue23I'll always remember Tebow as a great human being who gave it 100% at all times on the football field.

jpake1I'll remember one of the greatest leaders I've ever seen at the college level. Maybe THE greatest.

the fact that everything he had he gave. While I hate his treatment by the media, I really feel it's just who he is and he wasn't trying to play it up.
He does NOT deserve to go to NY for the Heisman Presentation this year.
