The Alabama Crimson Tide are the 2010 BCS National Champions

Haha...true, but most of the passes they are trying to catch aren't very stellar either.2quik4u wrote: I see why texas has 3 5 star receivers in this class because there current ones fucking suck -
charliehustle14Take VY to the locker room, put him in Malcolm Williams' uniform, and let him play some WR. No one will ever know.

ironman02Shouldn't everyone be calling Ingram a pussy for not being in the game?
-
just_a_swimmerNow Ingram is hurting with cramps.
Man o Man. -

Are you going to be THAT guy?september63 wrote: Missed 2 pass Interference calls!!
Are you going to pull a Rock_Knutne and try to convince people that 1 penalty won the game for the opposing team that won by two scores?
LMAO. -
NonI think Texas would've won with McCoy
I wanted Alabama to win and thought they were better
but Texas came out loose and full of fight
just the way both teams took the field I think Texas had it tonight but that changed everything -
tk421Wow that ball wasn't even catchable. The ball was 5 - 10 yards under thrown. Bad call.
-
krambmanI'm not convinced that that ball was catchable.
-
september63You have to be shitting me!! PI on Texas after missing 2 against Bama?

McCoy is nothing special either. Outcome would have been the same. Some of you people overrate McCoy.Non wrote: I think Texas would've won with McCoy

ironman02Piss poor call by the official on that one.
-
tk421Fucking face mask now. Or hands to the face. Texas needs a stop, yet they're killing themselves with penalties.
-
NonTexas would've scored a touchdown on both of the first two possessions instead of field goals
and then Alabama had a couple series defensively where Gilbert was just afraid and had no chance
McCoy would've kept them moving and adding to the early 14-0 or 10-0 lead -
ironman02
I'm pretty sure the Texas offense would have been much better with McCoy than Gilbert. McCoy may not be the greatest QB ever, but he does happen to have won 45 college football games...you know, more than anyone in history.DaBrowns41 wrote:

There's no way to know that for sure considering how badly McCoy struggles against real defenses. That's a dumb statement.Non wrote: Texas would've scored a touchdown on both of the first two possessions instead of field goals

No, there should be no more than 3 of the 16 from one conference!dtdtim wrote:
Yes that's fine and has nothing to do with what you were originally saying.mhs95_06 wrote: One game in the whole college football post season that means something, and it's a bust! Start with 16 teams seeded by a committee like the basketball 64. Then the first 8 games played within two weeks of the end of the season on the first Saturday of December at the home of the best seeded teams. Then the four 2nd round games on New Years Day at major bowl locations to maintain a tradition. Semi-finals 9-12 days later, and the NC game 8-13 days before the Super Bowl.
I tell you what, let's just screw the entire college football season and, at the beginning of December every year, enter the following teams into a 12-team playoff format to determine the national champion:
Alabama
Arkansas
Auburn
Florida
Georgia
Kentucky
LSU
Mississippi
Mississippi State
South Carolina
Tennessee
Vanderbilt

For a person who "pretends" to know a lot about football, your posts make me think otherwise. I'm amazed as to how absurd your comments are sometimes.DaBrowns41 wrote:

NonAlabama was completely off balance on that first defensive series.
Texas was taking it in with ease with McCoy.
Maybe the next possession they get three and it's only 10-0 but still that would've been a better start than 6-0.
Alabama would've still ran the ball and scored but Texas would've continued to add points and keep it real close.
I didn't want Texas to win but I think they were going to win. Just my opinion.
I wouldn't say that it didn't matter, Alabama would've won anyway. It's football and injuries happen but no way can you say that Alabama would've won either way. -
september63Mack Brown!! Open ur offense and let the kid throw downfield!

Nonstill not over yet

My comments are absurd because I don't think a QB is that special considering he can't beat any teams with decent defenses?elbuckeye28 wrote:

My fault for looking at the facts.
