  Tressel's not reporting a serious NCAA violation was worse than a minor violation. And then he lied.

  That violation itself is similar, other than that, the situations are completely different. I admitted long ago that they both committed the same violation, but it's ridiculous to compare the 2 beyond that. You cannot compare the penalties or anything lile that.
  
  So Pearl committs a violation, lies about his own violation (knowing AND committing), doesn't report it, then continues to committ violations
  
  Jim Tressel doesn't report a violation then lies about KNOWING about it.
  
  Please, twist that so that the situations are so similar that you can compare punishments

  That's basically what I'm saying. Both are in violation of the 10.1 offense and that is something that is rarely handed down. Because it has been so rare, not only is the Pearl situation relevant, but all past offenses are also relevant and worth comparing to.
  
  We won't know for a little while what the NCAA decides. Maybe they agree with you that the offense wasn't as bad as some of the others. But I think they are going to come down harder than a lot of other people tend to think.

All he does is follow dynasty around and post crap like he did in this thread.
