It scares me how well OSU is playing on offense....no one ever does that for 6 games.

Iowa, PSU, NW all play slow games anyway. They didnt change anything. MSU and Michigan lost. I think if they try to run, they get blown out 8/10 times and win 1 or 2. Slow down, I think they lose everytime. But those teams play a lot of grind it out games as well. This whole argument is in reference to GM trying to run with the Bucks and previewing ahead to UK and UNC.

As soon as OSU's tourny run is over (of course after they win the NC) I am gonna buy a Lighty jersey before they put them away for the year

Are you guys ok with that?

Why not? Close out on a damn shooter and they wouldn't shoot them.

Do you know what a "run" is?

GMU is still scoring down 30, you ok with that?

There isn't a doubt in my mind that this is the best team in the nation....but the best team doesn't always win. Lets just hope they keep shooting the 3ball well.

    Yes sir.

    Start playing defense.

It's the NCAA Tourney........the Cinderella might create havoc on a #1 seed.......but they are also fair game to a blow out......take the open 3......you want them to bunt?

It looks like they are going to play Party in the USA every Buckeye game from here on out. smh.

WTF does this have to do with anything?

It is the same sentiment that Knight had about UNLV. His teams dont know how to slow it down. UK and UNC dont know how to slow it down. They will get their shit run if they slow it down against OSU. They have to try and outscore them.

Your examples were of teams who have success playing slow games. Of course they can play that way.

Well no shit they play slow games anyway lol It doesn't matter change the fact. But I disagree, if they all try to run with OSU for 40 minutes, they get blitzed badly. Slowing it down, they might pull off a win or two out of 10 tries. When you slow the game down, you limit the volume of shots. Maybe you catch OSU on a cold night where they don't hit on the few looks they get? However, when you try to run with them, OSU takes over with their athleticism and superb transition game. Unless you match up with OSU's athletes, it's not a good idea at all.

Matta could stop this but he won't because he likes shove teams noses in shit

As some have said, teams don't stay this hot for very long

When they go cold, they better hope the other team gets cold too

We will just work through Sullinger, remember OSU is the most balanced team in the nation.

Also, our defense is pretty good too. That will keep OSU in any game.

    This is just fucking insane.

Im pretty sure we agree more than we think.

I was talking about if UofM and MSU tried to run with them, not those other teams.

I also am solely talking about beating them from here on out. So, Im looking at UNC and UK match-ups. If they want to win, they have to run and try to stay hot with their guard and outscore OSU, if they slow it down, OSU will grind out a 10 pt win versus either of them, every time.

If you are a team who knows how to play slow, that is obviously the best chance. I just dont think a fast paced team is going to have success changing their style against OSU.
