Official Bracket Check-In Thread

Haha no, I was not offended. I agree with you whole-heartedly. There was this kid I knew whose bracket pool I entered in college. I went to high school with him and he played in the same backcourt as me for two years, so I figured his tournament would be legit and that everything would be cool. Not having access to the master brackets, I had to rely on receiving updates of the bracket leaders when I saw him in class, as we never really saw each other otherwise. Well, I "led" that bracket pool the entire tournament until the day after the championship game, at which point he informed me that he had taken the lead at the end. LOL.O-Trap wrote:I don't know you well enough to tell on here. I hope you aren't offended.
I know people who would actually do that, so I know such "scumbags" exist. I like to think of them as just people who take it too seriously.
Never again will I enter a random bracket pool where some guy is probably just sitting there with an empty tournament sheet and a marker. -

Yeah, I was invited into a pool this year by a guy I caught having two teams in a FFL league I was in. My answer: "HELL no!"reclegend22;716830 wrote:Haha no, I was not offended. O-TrapJust dropped another by picking 'Nova to get out of this round.
No worry, though. I had OSU beating them next round anyway.
Currently 16-4 ... with 3 of the 4 misses not making it out of the next round anyway (and the 4th only making it to the Sweet 16). -
september6321/24. Lost Tex A&M today. Marquette, UNLV, VCU, Washington and all the big favorites left tonight.
-
ironman02Doing much better today with a 7-1 mark through the first two sessions, but that still only puts me at 16-8 overall.
Took Xavier, Washington, Illinois, Georgetown, Carolina, 'Cuse, Kansas, and Purdue tonight. -
september63Good Luck Iron..............on 5 of your late games, anyways. LOL
-
ironman02
LOL. Thanks. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Marquette, UNLV, and VCU win. All of those have the potential to be close games.september63;716995 wrote:Good Luck Iron..............on 5 of your late games, anyways. LOL -
september63Yes they do. However, I'm do to lose.
-
fictionMissed 1 game so far. I didn't watch much college basketball this year, no way it even remotely holds up.
-
september6325-3 with UNLV, Washington, Syracuse and VCU left. UNLV already appears to be a Loser.
-

holy shit! and he's got Illinois. -
davethere are only 5 perfect brackets left on espn, 3 have UNLV.
Of the 2 that will stay perfect, both have Washington and Georgetown.
Good chance there are 0 left. -
stroupsI have lost 5 or 6 games but nothing detrimental yet. Only 1 sweet 16 team in Louisville.
-
friendfromlowryI'll throw mine away when Georgetown loses.
-
Laley23Xavier fucked me. I know have 4 S16 teams out...At least all my E8 teams are left.
-
Leonardo23-9 in the first round
14 of 16 Sweet 16 teams alive (lost Louisville and Michigan State)
8 of 8 Elite 8 teams alive -
Iliketurtles26-6 in the first round and I still have 14 out of 16 of my sweet 16 teams.
-
september6328-4 with 15/16 Sweet 16's left. Louisville was my only big loss.
-
UA5straightin2008in the 99.2% on espn, pretty content with my picks..pitts loss didnt help, but it didnt help anyone really so it didnt affect my standings in either of my pools
-
dazedconfusedmight as well put a big red "X" through the entire southeast region. i have maxed out my win total from that region and it only took me three days lol
-
september6328-4 in the first round. Had a bad day Sat going 5-3 and am no longer in 1st place by 1 point. Still in the 99%.

Helped me tons. I had Butler beating Pitt in that game. I moved from T-201 to 25th in a 900 person bracket challenge.
My only misses on sweet 16 teams are Xavier and St. John's so far. -
Cleveland BuckWell, I lost my first Final Four team with Syracuse losing to Marquette. I doubt either of them would be in the Sweet 16 if they weren't playing each other, but that's the way it goes.
