Official Bracket Check-In Thread

Only making it to the second round: Missouri, Louisville, Utah St, Michigan St
    Sweet 16 team: St. John's

Not overly concerned yet. I've been more accurate in the first round before and finished terribly. Hopefully that trend reverses this year.

Christ that was a bad day. Ready for day 2. Ive filled out 34 first rounds days, and 33 have been completed. Never lost more than 4...yesterday I went 9-7. FML.

    -ODU
    -PSU (Sweet 16)
    -Louisville (Sweet 16)
    -MSU
    -Belmont (Sweet 16)
    -Utah St
    -Missouri

Belmont is BY FAR my worst pick. I love them as a team, but I knew that was a horrible match-up and wanted to take Wisconsin to the Elite 8. Talked myself into the upset and live to regret it. Changing my Morehead pick because of it as well backfired (didnt think two 13s would win, and I had Richmond/Utah St as their 12s...so it wouldve been two 12/13 match-ups).

President Obama had 14/16 winners, with only Louisville winning one more game.

Coincidentally, I had the same thing in one bracket and 13/16 in the other with only Louisville advancing.

Who tanked on the late games in 35 different pools? This guy *points to self*. Oh well, I've accepted my role as a mid-major in the pool world.

    lol

In my work bracket, the one I paid to play in, I had St. John's, Utah St., Mizzou all winning.

I had Louisville winning 1 more game, Vandy in the sweet 16, St. Johns in the sweet 16 and MSU beating UCLA.

Thus far, I've only missed three: Penn State, Michigan State, and Louisville. I had Penn State and Michigan State losing in Round 2 anyway, and Louisville losing in Round 3. I picked the Richmond and Gonzaga upsets, though, and the games so far today are looking good for me (especially the Michigan/Tenn game, as a 8-vs-9 game).

I should note that I while I am actually 12-4, I have included an asterisk beside my Louisville pick due to Louisville losing despite being in my national title game. The reason the asterisk is allowable in this case is because Louisville was in my national title game. So, that pick gets thrown out in my "friends" pool (I am in charge of the brackets so I am just filling in a blank bracket now as the games progress, adding a token loss here and there for realism.)

I am a horrible person. Lol. However, I am not losing out on the chance to defend my title.

    Or his "friends," either.

I was simply making light of how much my bracket sucks. I didn't actually put an "asterisk" beside Louisville and then replace their name in my bracket with Morehead. I may appear to be a dick at certain times, but I can lose gracefully in a bracket pool. It's a bracket pool lol.

And I was kidding as well. I believe O-Trap was too. We were just sharing a LOL here.

I figured you were, but I was just making it clear that I'm not a total scumbag haha. I figured some would believe I was serious.

I don't know you well enough to tell on here. I hope you aren't offended.

I know people who would actually do that, so I know such "scumbags" exist. I like to think of them as just people who take it too seriously.

Friggin' over-rated Big East teams are killling me.....I have Louisville to the Sweet 16 and St John's to the Elite 8.

Ill have a collapse at some point, always do. Yes I did 2 brackets, but even if i did one, it would still be in first.

Yeah, I had Louisville in the Sweet 16 as well.

I'm not upset about St. John's, though. :D

Only reason that I am is that it screws up my bracket!

I am 20 for 20...I rec'd my bracket and am leading america.
  • reclegend22
    Haha.

Also just noticed I have all chalk from here on out (obviously just the first round only), excluding (9) Villanova beating (8) George Mason. But 8/9 games are toss ups, there are no favorites, imo.
