No doubt he is good, but that's not the game to promote his ability.
That wasn't the game to prove he had the coordination to walk and text at the same time. -
Crimson streakHow about Michigan St gets blown out in the 1st round

I already made my prediction dipshit. Post #29 in this thread. You may remember it as the one where I called you out for being "so bold" as to pick the #1 overall seed to win it all.
That was just a response to the prediction about UC going Elite. -
Azubuike24Florida cuts down the nets.
They beat Old Dominion in the Eliet 8 to make the Final Four.
San Diego State wins their first NCAA Tournament game ever. They proceed to win 3 more and make the Final Four.
At least one number 3 seed will lose in round 1. Indiana State can really only shoot threes, they could get extremely hot against the Cuse zone. Wofford is a veteran team who vastly underachieved this year, and BYU is ripe for an upset. Bucknell is going to force Connecticut to really focus after the 5 games in 5 days. Purdue is a team trending backwards fast, and St. Peter's is from a league who always pulls upsets and rolled over the 2 top teams in their league (Fairfield and Iona) to get here.
Florida State/Texas A&M total score is less than 95 points.
Nobody comes within single digits of Kansas until the Final Four loss, to Florida.
Morehead State will defeat Louisville, by more than 5.
A player averaging less than 10 PPG will go for 25+ in a single game, my guess is Phil Pressey or Cameron Tatum. -
jhay78Bucknell beats UConn in Round 2
Washington over UNC in Round 3 -
justincredibleWVU over OSU. Yap.

justincredibleI have Mich St in the Final Four. My bracket sucks. But book it.

NonI'm getting a Stew Morrill and Utah State vibe over Kansas State.

NonI also think Akron has a chance against Notre Dame.
Akron's overall record is unremarkable. Nothing really to suggest they're a sleeper but watching the MAC title game I liked their depth and the big guy Zeke Marshall blocking shots.
Good MAC teams are usually better than a No. 15. -

The MAC is lucky they werent a 16 seed. That league is HORRRRRIBLE -
NonIt was a down year in the MAC but over the years they've had teams play well and pull off upsets. Their champion is usually more like a 12, 13, or 14.
Akron finished third in the regular season standings so they don't have a good overall record and therefore nobody is talking about them. But if they give ND a decent game I won't be surprised. -
SportsAndLadyOU last year was what? a 14 seed? And they were 7-9 in the MAC...you'd think if they were gonna start dropping the MAC seed levels, they'd start when their 7-9 team wins the conference. But no they do it the year after the MAC representative beat Georgetown in the first round. Makes sense....

Laley23I agree with all that. But overall, I think this is the worst the MAC has been in years. I had to cover quite a few of the games for BG and UT, and so saw the other schools come through. Last year the teams were better. Much better. Then again, I only saw UT and BG more than once...We shall see.
I think ND wins by close to 25. -

ND lost in the first round last year so I really don't see them actually losing, but I think they'll have to play really well to win by that much. We'll see though. That's why it's a bold prediction I guess. -

So do I. I have way too many brackets, but I know for a fact my "main" bracket has Mich St in the final four. -
Laley23Why anyone took MSU past the first round is beyond me. And Im an Izzo dick sucker lol.
Ill chalk it up to this being a "bold predictions" thread. -

If crazy, I'm saying Michigan State makes it to the Elite Eight; if we're talking more along the lines of more bold than crazy, then I'll say only four Big East teams make it to the sweet sixteen.GOONx19;710874 wrote:Florida loses to UCSB.Tiger2003;710898 wrote:Michigan St will make it to the Final 4.like_that;711208 wrote:-Mich St/Kansas St will be playing each other in the elite 8 with Kansas St making it to the final 4.

My bold predictions:
Villanova channels Taylor King by catching fire and shocks Ohio State in a thriller
Belmont knocks off Wisconsin
The Jimmer breaks Loyola Marymount's Jeff Fryer's record for most threes in an NCAA tournament contest (11)
Michigan State reaches the Elite Eight (Tom Izzo's family is probably already in a room in the French Quarter)
Not only does the Big East not not have a team in the Final Four, but they have two (Louisville and Pitt) and one reach the NCAA final: Louisville
UK and Duke meet in the Final Four, the sixth time the two storied schools have met in NCAA tournament history (the last being the 1998 regional finals)
Duke wins the NCAA championship (not that bold for a #1 seed, but I bet many won't pick this)se-alum;711533 wrote:I have Wisky and MSU meeting in the elite 8, w/ Wisky advancing to the final four.ccrunner609;713537 wrote:The B1G goes undefeated in round 1Azubuike24;713853 wrote:Florida cuts down the nets.
