He's also extremely smart. You don't get into Duke law school without being extremely intelligent. -

I'd like clarification as well. I always assumed the Musketeers were Ohio's team, not the Minutemen. -
RotinajI always thought Ball State was ohios team?
-
Fly4FunI thought Jerome Bettis was Ohio's guy?

CinciX12Jerome Bettis is from Tampa and Amherst is technically Cincinnati.

SportsAndLadyOhio's team is the NWO---taking over your city!!!!!

haha, I actually really wanted to take Wisconsin to the Final Four this year. For the first time ever I like their make-up for March and I think they have a strong tourney type team. BUT, I couldnt take a team to the Final Four knowing I will likely be sweating out the first round with Belmont capable of beating 60/68 teams in the field. It was too big a risk haha. -
SportsAndLadyI don't get the lovefest for Belmont some people have...they haven't beaten anyone all year, just because they're 30-4 doesn't mean they're capable of beating a good team, it just means they were able to beat the majority of their bad opponents. They don't have a big scorer and are a poor rebounding team.

yeah, but 30-4 is 30-4. Ive seen them a few times and they passed the "eye-test" and thrashed most of their opponents. Yes, they lost 3 times to the 2 good teams (Vandy and Tenn). But they were by 9, 9, and 1 I think, and all on the road.
Who did Murray St beat the last few years? No one, and had 3 losses to bad teams. But they finished 30-4 regular season, same as Belmont. Good teams are good teams. You get 30 wins before the post-season...your a damn good team. -

All true...but w/ Murray State, when exactly has Vandy ever done ANYTHING in the NCAA tourney? Wisconsin and Bo Ryan, as much as I hate that muther fucker, have been there before and will take care of Belmont. -

They may be more than Vandy, but dont pretend Wisconsin under Bo Ryan is anything but a top underachiever. 6 first weekend exits in 9 years. -
gorocks99The Final Four will come from this pool of 19 teams:
Ohio State
Clemson*
Kentucky*
Syracuse
UNC
Duke
Texas
Cincinnati
SDSU
Kansas
UNLV
Illinois*
Louisville
Purdue
St Peter's*
Florida St
Pitt*
Utah State
Belmont
Not really a bold prediction (since all the #1 seeds are in there) but these are the teams ranked in the top 25 of AdjD from kenpom.com. In the past five years, only one team with an AdjD of >25 has made the final four, that would be Michigan State last year (they were number 30). Teams with a * are >=20 AdjD, of which just three teams in the past five years of Final Fours have been ranked. -

reclegend22Haha yeah pretty big fail on my part. I did, in fact, mean the Cincinnati Musketeers. (Joking.) And, actually, I think I wrote "Minutemen" twice. I guess Bruiser Flint made a really big impact on me. #I'veWatchedBasketballSinceIWasTwoWhatTheFuck

Shocking that you predict that, no they won't. Matter of fact they will beat either of those teams by atleast 15. -

khujoreclegend22;711374 wrote:IBut I really love Tu Holloway. The kid is a flat out stud. I believe he and Nolan Smith are the only two players in the country averaging over 5 assists and 20 points per game. When Tu's hitting his three-point shot like he did in the A-10 Tournament, he's almost unpreventable. God I wish he still had Jordan Crawford in his backcourt. Xavier would be a lock for the Final Four. I always love seeing Xavier represent Ohio. They are Ohio's team.
They played one game in the A-10 Tournament and lost. He was 4-10 from 3.
No doubt he is good, but that's not the game to promote his ability.
