Ahh why not...Big 12 Tourney

Okay so Ohio State has 3 better wins than KU's best...but KU has more impressive wins, has the same record, better RPI and SOS...I could see them giving it to KU, that's all I'm trying to say. But you're right, it's irrelevant because they aren't fighting for the same geographical locations.

Assuming the score holds (I don't think it will, texas has a run in them and KU hasn't put together a full 40 minute performance in months), crushing Texas is going to impress the committee a lot more than beating Penn State.

Not to mention, the committee already has their selections in before the BIG10 tourney, so they won't even know if OSU wins or loses.

And it really does not matter as KU and OSU will be placed where they want. The only thing that could be tough for either one, is who the #2 seed in in their bracket.

    I've already said this

Disregarding Texas? If you are disregarding the games from the tourny, you shouldnt use the RPI ratings that include those games.

Had Kansas beaten Texas this season when I made that post?

Four coaches in history have done what you are watching Bill Self do right now - 7 straight conference titles with a National Championship to boot. Their names are

Adolf Rupp (Streak started 14th season)
Jerry Tarkanian (Streak started 10th season)
John Wooden (Streak started 19th season)
Bill Self (Streak started 2nd season)

Not that it matters, but KU beat NO ONE on the road. At least OSU has a road win worth talking about. And OSU beat FSU on the road, FSU is a good win.

Florida State a good win? If you're gonna count Florida State as a good road win, you gotta count KU's road wins @ Colorado, @ Missouri, and @ Michigan. But then if you count these, you can add some on for OSU (@ michigan for example) also.

FSU is a good win. As are the other ones you stated.

I think it was like Bob Knight said...Texas played that late game on Friday nite, they were exhausted and didn't have the energy. No question that was the reason that Texas lost last nite vs KU. ;)

I laughed so hard when he said that. Mainly because earlier in the broadcast he said TRob's mothers death was not the reason they lost it was because texas was better that day. Then he goes on to contradict himself with the Texas statements about it being a viable excuse.
