coming off losing two out of the last three, IMO a statement game for the Buckeyes, and they'll make one---OSU by at least 15

Living in Illinois, I am always keyed up when these two teams meet, whatever the sport. We've enjoyed a good deal of success against the Illini in the last several years and I fully expect this trend to continue tonight. I am interested in whether our local school superintendent will be wearing a striped shirt tonight.

Illinois played pretty well at Minny the other day. If they could ever get it together all at once they'd be dangerous.
Bucks by 12 at home 78-66.

    Osu by double digits.

And would you mind sharing the identity of your local supt? I know it's not Valentine.lol

OSU by 5. Unless OSU can tighten up that defense, I see Illi staying in the game.

Illinois is looking at this game as a clincher to get in the NCAA tournament. I wouldn't be surprised if it's close.

Why it's none other than Dr. Ed Hightower. He's been the Supt. of District 7 for at least 13 years now, perhaps more.

Hightower ... Valentine.... Basically the same. Both like putting themselves into the game way too often.

To hear the announcers talk, these two are like professors when it comes to officiating. While I do think they know the rules inside and out, I wouldn't go so far as to grant them sainthood. I really don't have a beef with Dr. Ed, but Valentine was pretty bad on Sunday.

Eddie and Teddy are becoming(if not there already) TERRIBLE officials.

While they obviously have, at one time, been good officials; they are all about themselves on the court now and it hurts the games they do badly. They don't make calls that even Stevie Wonder could have seen and then they will make a call that never happened. All while doing the "it's all about me" dance.

    I agree with this.

I think we might get a repeat of the Purdue game from a month ago....

Ah, was gonna say I like Dakich. Musberger needs to take a cue from Bob Griese.
