Ohio State @ Wisconsin (2/12)
-
se-alumToughest game to date for the Buckeyes. It's gonna be tough to go into Wisky and come out with a W. Imo, this game and @Purdue stand in the way of a perfect regular season for the Bucks.
My prediction: Bucks by 1 -
vball10setTOSU by 8, and Lighty lights 'em up---GO BUCKS!!!
-
ytownfootballNot going to be an easy W in Wiscy, expect some rust after the long stretch of being off. Wiscy has some bigs that will draw out the D shooting away from underneath, could cause some troubles.
-
hoops23I think OSU drops this game. Would love to be wrong though...
-
mallymal614Can this get any more similar than football? Remember the #1 Bucks, undefeated, going to Madison to face a Wisconsin team that had about the same ranking their basketball team currently have?
-
FatHobbitThis game is going to show us a lot. If we can get the W I'm going to start having National Title hopes.
-
mallymal614I will say this tough. Under Matta Ohio State has a history of playing well in games that suppose to be tough or that they are suppose to lose. . From the Illinois upset in 2005, Michigan State in the Big Ten tournament 2009, at Illinois both last year and this year, and Purdue a couple weeks ago. I agree the game will be tough, but if Ohio State win by 10+ I wouldn't be surprise at all.

Ankle BreakerWe'll see a lot of this on Saturday:

Ankle BreakerGuaranteed to see a lot of this on Saturday:
Bo Ryan - the biggest whiner in college basketball. -
ptown_trojans_1OSU will have to play a near perfect game, just like they had against Minn and Purdue earlier this year. Otherwise, it could be really tough.
I have a bad feeling about the game, but we'll see. -
september63I thought I read where Bo Ryan is has won 6 in a row at home vs Ohio State?
-
revgatI believe it is 7 in a row. I though I remember seeing it during the Minnesota game.

this, and I don't think the Buckeyes have ever won at the Kohl Center (until this Saturday) -
WriterbuckeyeMatta has never had a victory at the Kohl Center. Even with Oden & Company. At Wisconsin was their only loss in the conference that season.
If OSU is going to lose a regular season game, the odds would say it's this one. -
mallymal614Ohio State went 15-1 in the Big Ten during the 2006/2007 season. Their only lost came to and at......you guessed it!
-
centralbucksfanWhat I like about this game...OSU has a week to get their legs under them, and prepare. Wisky has a game Weds @ Iowa. That only gives them 2 days of prep. This will be a tough game...but OSU has went into Florida, Ill and Minny and flat out got it done. Everytime I think this team is "ready" for an L...they seem to step up. The maturity and toughness this team is showing thus far, its very impressive. I am confident they will play well this week. After yesterday win @ Minny, I am confident this team can go into Wisky and get it done.

PrescottIt will be interesting to see the match ups. Leuer and Nankivil are a problem fpr OSU. Lauderdale is not a good perimeter defender which will force Lighty or Buford to defend bigger men. Jordan Taylor has the strength to push around Craft , which might cause some foul problems.
OSU's perimeter quickness will cause the Badgers problems.
If the Buckeyes can match Wisky's 3 point production I think they win the game. -
se-alumTaylor will not push around Craft. Craft is a strong, thick kid. I agree that Wisky will struggle to guard OSU.
-
Ankle BreakerI agree that Taylor won't outmuscle Craft. If McCamey didn't, I don't think Taylor will either. However, the bigs - especially Lauer - do present some problems. Maybe more zone than usual for the Buckeyes??
-
se-alumOn a side not, I'm pretty sure Wisky has just been putting different jerseys on the same tall white guys for the last 10 yrs.

that'd be a interesting thread topic-- what is the whitest team in D1 (other than Ivy League schools)? I'd have to go with BYU -
Swamp FoxIt would be great to get the monkey off our backs for the remainder of the stretch run. A victory over Wisconsin would be huge. It would be a giant confidence builder against the one team that we need that against. Go Bucks!

Indiana gives any major conference team a run for their money. Outside of Victor Oladipo, whose parents are Nigerian, they have a 1/4 black kid (Rivers) and a 1/2 black kid (Jones III) currently on the active roster lol. -
Big Gain
If they play zone for 1 minute it would be more than they have played zone in a game this year.Ankle Breaker;669756 wrote:I agree that Taylor won't outmuscle Craft.
