Kemba Walker? Don't know if he actually runs point for the Huskies, but he's definitely PG size.

Kemba Walker 6'1" 172lbs does play PG for UConn.

Personally think Craft could defend any PG in the country. They may get their points, but it would take more shots than usual for them. And at games end, they would be hurting IMO. Craft is mentally tough and strong. Over the course of 30+ min, that wears on a guy to have him hanging/banging on your. There aren't many guys who are willing to sacrifice that much effort and energy defensively. Its work and you have to enjoy it. Matta said that is what is unique about Craft..he loves playing defense and its what he wants to be known for. And he is exceptional at it.

Most big time HS recruits can be "passive" playing against children, then comes practicing with their new upper class college teammates. The old survival of the fittest, playing time, comes into play at that point. Example: Thomas's defense early in the year VS now.

Craft ALSO defends with his mind. Name another PG of his athletic ability who's a straight A student. Well almost, his Chemistry Prof. wouldn't let him make up a quiz he missed when on a road trip, so he got a B. He also took Honors English and Advanced Calculus his first Semester, the A's.

I have a feeling the whole Craft is smart thign is gonna become fucking SUPER annoying during telecasts. Much like how Krenzel was smart was repeated 10000000000000 times over his career lol

Or how Denard doesn't tie his shoes

With a voice like Aaron Craft's, who cares about the NBA!

I don't find it annoying at all, and I'd venture to say most Buckeye fans don't as well.

It's not yet, but I did get sick of hearing how smart Krenzel was and I didn't even watch the title game on tv.

I understand, but for some reason it doesn't bother me like it would if they were referring to another teams' player--the "scarlet and gray glasses" syndrome, I guess ;)

I don't care if they talk about how smart a kid is. With how many dumb ass athletes there are nowadays, it's nice to hear about someone who's not.

He defends with his mind? Did you come up with that all by yourself?

LOL--come on, dynasty, didn't you know that Craft's a relative of Criss Angel? :p

Now it all makes sense! McCamey played like shit because he couldn't figure out the advanced calculus problem Craft asked him before the game. Oh that crafty, Craft.

    Bwahahahaha....I've heard it all now.

Thanks for the info, they only mentioned that about 6 times during the last game.

Maybe Craft should try singing to whoever he's guarding next time...

I may have been wrong about Craft. Today, he showed that quick first step that I didn't really ever notice before. The way he beat his defender off the dribble definitely reminded me of Conley.

I love this kid. My buddy said he's going to be an urban legend at OSU lol...

Seriously though, I follow all of OSU's recruits before they actually step on the court in Columbus and I've never seen Craft play like this. Of course he had big games in HS, but none of them had him schooling an All-American.

This kid is very good... I never doubted him making the NBA, but I now think he definitely has a great shot once he's done at OSU. I still don;t think he'll be near as good as a pro as Conley, but with his work ethic who knows?

+1 ....BINGO...A lot of "dumb ass" on here who can't stand to hear about valedictorians and straight A students. Especially when they're excellent athletes as well. TWO things they are not.

Craft is really a great athlete/student/person. Nice to everyone he meets. Not arrogant. He's humble. Heck I would love to be in his position. I'm sick of everyone on here saying how annoying it is when announcers give him praise. The kid deserves it. No one gets annoyed by the bad things that come out about players and teams. You guys seem to love to talk about that stuff. Get of the kid's back. He will be a great player for the Buckeyes once his career is over. And if he keeps working he will go to the league. And if he doesn't, he'll get to use his mind in a job that he will EARN. Unlike most prominent athletes who use connections. I'm glad to have him playing for the Buckeyes.

Lmao or how many times Dan Fouts said Kellen Winslow reminds him a lot of his dad in the title game

I think Craft uses "pace" to get by his defenders. I compared him to a Steve Nash type player in the other thread, in the fact that he never gives up his dribble.
